fucking hell...2013 is gonna be brutal. ALREADY thought it was wayyy too jammed, now we get 10,000 more people in the Park. fuck.

This interview claims they already had a headliner booked for 2013 before the 2012 festival took place. They may have already scored some big names to fuel this line of thought.

For 2012, they expanded the festival grounds in and around the lindley meadow area where the comedy tent and beer lands were located so they could raise the attendance from 60k to 65k. With an additional 10k for 2013, I'm gonna assume they are going to further expand the festival grounds in some way. Logically, I would think they would use more of lindley meadow and or expand across jfk into marx meadow kinda like the way hardly strictly does.

Just thought of how great that Chocolands pass is really going to be now. With 10,000 more and that bottelneck between Lands End stage and Twin Peaks would really not be fun.

I hope with that extra money they will be able to install some video screens at Sutro. I really enjoyed hearing Alabama Shakes last year. It would have been even better to see them.

Yes. They also need to add more speakers to Sutro and Twin Peaks. The sound at those stages are pretty weak unless you get up close which is hard to do sometimes. I'm sure there are some sound bleed issues but the main stage and Panhandle stages are much louder (Panhandle is loud for its size).

Add more bathrooms, speakers at Sutro and Twin Peaks, and TV screens at Sutro, and this would be a much more enjoyable fest.

well with 10,000 more people they better add more bathrooms. I don't think they need to add more speakers to Twin Peaks and Sutro, just need new guys at the sound board. Maybe put video screens at Twin Peaks but I don't really care for that. I'm probably in the minority that seeing the band isn't as important to me.

They don't need more bathrooms, they need more attendees who know how to look beyond one set of port-o-potties. There were plenty available if you didn't go to the same ones that were constantly full.
