Fisherman's Wharf is a couple miles from this shuttle's pickup point (picks up at The Republic restaurant/bar). The Marina District is a neighborhood bordered on the South by Lombard Street, on the North by the bay shore, the Presidio (the park) on the West, and Van Ness on the East. It has some fun bars, but you have to be okay with bros.

From Fisherman's Wharf, you'd probably be best taking the 47 or 19 south to Civic Center and taking the official OSL shuttle from there. Or you could just cab it there, but getting back will be a royal pain.

Did Muni do a "5L" bus last year? That's a nice addition to the transit routes. Should be quite a bit faster than taking the normal 5 and since it ends right at the place you need to get off for OSL, there is no chance of missing your stop.
