Outside Lands is not Coachella btw. The festival isnt going to sell out in 4 hours, is it? And fyi, Radiohead didnt even announce the solo dates in california until AFTER the line up came out. Also, they didnt go onsale until AFTER Coachella had even gone on sale. And, youre talking to the wrong person when it comes to where my money goes for Radiohead and where it wouldnt go.

He is trying really hard to say that RHCP has crazy fans like Radiohead does and also people are waiting to buy a ticket for OSL to see RHCP cause they would rather be out at Golden Gate Park with a douchey crowd instead of at Oracle Arena with a smaller douchey crowd.

Deer Tick are skipping the Bay Area on their west coast tour.

Why are you talking? And why did you say "we"? You've added nothing of intellectual value and your premise for rejecting RHCP at OSL is a specious attempt to make you look good. Quit being such a sophist

so sad he was the best part of the band. I couldn't get excited for their new album knowing he wasn't in the band anymore, and I was a life-long fan. Shitty.

"Ranger Dave: ranger dave is outdoing himself this year."

    Truth or marketing scheme?

It could be true. By all accounts OSL had probably its most profitable year with the number of tickets sold. I think they know if they get good talent, they should be able to sell more tickets this year. And this festival has a lot of room to improve.

Hopefully, we will start getting some not so cryptic clues in the near future so we can see how this is going to play out.

from what ive heard through friends who have friends that work for the people who throw OSL- this year's lineup is going to completely outdo all the previous ones

If somehow they pulled off the likes of Sigur Ros, Springsteen, and Justice, that would be completely outdoing themselves.

August 10-12: Outside Lands @ Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
August 25-26: Rock The Bells @ Shoreline Ampitheater, Mountain View
September 1-2: FYF Fest @ LA Historic Park, Los Angeles
September 21: Animal Collective @ Fox Theater, Oakland
September 22: Wilco @ Greek Theater, Berkeley
September 28: Beach House @ Fox Theater, Oakland
    October 12: Raveonettes @ Bimbo's 365 Club, San Francisco
October 19: Bob Dylan w/Mark Knopfler @ Berkeley
November 7: Leonard Cohen @ San Jose

From that Osheaga list I'd love to see a ton of bands, especially Brand New, though that would never happen and everyone else here probably hates them hahaha.

Looks like Tallest Man on Earth could be a possibility:

05-31 Stockholm, Sweden - Sodra Teatern
06-01 Stockholm, Sweden - Sodra Teatern
06-20 New York, NY - Town Hall
07-03 London, England - Hackney Empire
    07-04 Amsterdam, Netherlands - Paradiso
    07-06 Berlin, Germany - Lido
07-29 Newport, RI - Newport Folk Festival
    08-17 Hasselt, Belgium - Pukkelpop

Obviously with Pukkelpop directly after it's a bit of a stretch, but the date at the end of July in Rhode Island seems like he'll do a little US leg in that time period.

Have heard alot of interesting rumors (confirmations for those who believe them). I have a feeling this year is going to be more about the undercard than the headliners...
