Jack White vs. Santigold is not a difficult choice.

My big conflicts are:

Walkmen v. Beck v. Die Antwoord
Foo Fighters v. Andrew Bird v. MSTRKRFT
Explosions in the Sky v. Big Boi

I'm pretty grumpy about Grandaddy vs. Big Boi and The Kills vs. Thee Oh Sees. I'd be more upset about the Walkmen/Beck overlap if I hadn't seen the Walkmen before, but I have, so it's no big.

That's my major complaint. I've seen Oh Sees and Big Boi enough times to resist murder though.

I've only seen The Kills, so I'm definitely not pleased. Pretty sure I'm going to be forced into Grandaddy due to length of fandom and Thee Oh Sees due to not seeing them ever.

Sunday I will be camping for most of the day at the Main stage, except to go out to see Bloc after Jack White. The only really bad conflicts are of Monsters and Men overlapping a smidge with the Foos, Metallica and Sigur Ros, and Fun. overlapping with Tom Morello. Otherwise another stellar scheduling job.

Oh and odds on Dave Grohl guesting with Neil Young?

For pure entertainment you can't go wrong choosing Thee Oh Sees over the Kills. Big Boi / Grandaddy is still a toss-up for me though because Big Boi slays live and I've got tickets to Grandaddy Sunday night. It still seems egregious when there's absolutely nothing off main stage Sunday.

Yeah, I kind of feel like Big Boi is going to be the better show. But since Grandaddy don't have any dates that aren't in California or Europe I feel pretty compelled to go.

Its definitely the smallest stage but there shouldn't be any noisebleed since no one plays at the Twin Peaks stage when the Panhandle stage is going.

Its a pretty good spot since you wont have to move much if you are planning on doing Twin Peaks into Panhandle into Twin Peaks which I'm doing with Big Boi into Thee Oh Sees into Passion Pit.

For me it's the opposite. Now that the set times are out, I feel less inclined to check out artists I know I am going to miss vs. Coachella I check out everything because I have no clue how the set times will shake out.

Although less talented on record, a solo Big Boi show trumps whatever scat-jazz-hip-hop-fusion "I don't play the hits" solo performance Andre 3000 would cook up. And I say this as a rabid OutKast fan.
