I'm down.
This schedule is a bag full of bullshit.
Jack White vs. Santigold is not a difficult choice.
My big conflicts are:
Walkmen v. Beck v. Die Antwoord
Foo Fighters v. Andrew Bird v. MSTRKRFT
Explosions in the Sky v. Big Boi
RIP The White Stripes 1997-2011
no major conflicts for me.
just minor inconveniences: beck vs. tennis, david cross vs. part of beck, david cross vs. mstrkrft, justice vs. neil young, explosions in the sky vs. grandaddy vs. big boi, the kills vs. thee oh sees, dr dog and sigur ros vs. metallica, caveman vs. franz ferdinand, and jack white vs. santigold
i'll probably do a lot more roaming then previous years.
i'll probably
Sunday I will be camping for most of the day at the Main stage, except to go out to see Bloc after Jack White. The only really bad conflicts are of Monsters and Men overlapping a smidge with the Foos, Metallica and Sigur Ros, and Fun. overlapping with Tom Morello. Otherwise another stellar scheduling job.
Oh and odds on Dave Grohl guesting with Neil Young?
For pure entertainment you can't go wrong choosing Thee Oh Sees over the Kills. Big Boi / Grandaddy is still a toss-up for me though because Big Boi slays live and I've got tickets to Grandaddy Sunday night. It still seems egregious when there's absolutely nothing off main stage Sunday.
Awesome scheduling! Beck - Foos - Neil Young is crazy. I'm sure this festival will sell out soon.
Nice schedule. Not enough of my favorite acts on the Sutro though, I love that stage.
Will we get the festival map today?
RIP The White Stripes 1997-2011
Not really a big concern, but isn't the PanHandle stage kinda small to put a DJ on..such as Wolfgang? Im picturing a clusterfuck and soundbleed.
Its definitely the smallest stage but there shouldn't be any noisebleed since no one plays at the Twin Peaks stage when the Panhandle stage is going.
Its a pretty good spot since you wont have to move much if you are planning on doing Twin Peaks into Panhandle into Twin Peaks which I'm doing with Big Boi into Thee Oh Sees into Passion Pit.
DONT MISS TAME IMPALA!
It is great we're getting the schedule so early, lots of time to check out what we havent heard yet. ahhhh
There are still tickets for Grandaddy at the Independent Sunday night.
Albeit the lesser, he's still half of Outkast.
