So is it wrong that I've been delaying finding a job to attend this? I have saved enough money to go again this year and If i do find another job prior it probably means I can't attend (I'm not one to take time off within the first 6 months). Considering I missed coachella this year this has been my top priority. Am I looking at this wrong way?

But its been two months since the line-up has been announced so if they want to get any more buzz, they need to release the day by day breakdown.

And I agree with Tom, its absolutely ridiculous that Chella announces its schedule the Wednesday before the event. It seems like every other festival announces schedules three to five weeks before the event. That gives a person a reasonable amount of time to figure out who to check out during dead spots or if you have a conflict it gives you more time to make a decision on who you want to see.

Lets get the night shows too already.
Do you really need more than a couple of days to figure out who to see? Spending more time debating conflicts accomplishes nothing. I can look at a schedule and within 2 minutes tell you who I'm interested in seeing, and usually my planning changes at the last minute anyway.

I'm too lazy to look for the article, but Tollett said he purposely releases set times late because he likes people scrambling through them at once, which he says makes it more exciting. So I wouldn't plan on this changing anytime soon.

This is coming from someone who is waiting for a day-by-day breakdown because I can most likely only go Saturday. Outside Lands is under no obligation to cater to me. On the contrary, they should cater to those who buy three-day passes. Since we all have 3-day passes at Coachella I don't see the big deal about releasing set times late, it's not like they are going to be more to your liking because they were released 2 weeks earlier.

There are lots of people who want to see great music that also have inflexible work schedules. Not every music fan has a trust fund or works at Starbucks (or no job at all). I have a friend coming into L.A. who has a flight out on Sunday, and knowing in advance what bands he'll miss might make a big difference in whether he attends at all.

My wife (a teacher) also has to work every Monday morning at 7am, so knowing in advance who the Sunday closers are might change her mind about sticking around for the whole festival.

As the sun it rose up from the belly of sea,
Found his bedding of clouds where it hung for years,
    Still I don't believe.
While colors rained and poured from the cotton bound pools and the drips,
The drips stained us all, painted us all,
    Still I don't believe.

    The people found the mountain,
Climbed up from that hole in the ground
Through the cracks in the sky.
    Still I don't believe, I don't believe.

    The people found the mountain,
Climbed up from that hole in the ground
Through the cracks in the sky.
    And I don't believe, I don't believe.
And we'll be just fine, we'll be just fine.
    We'll be just fine, I don't believe.
    No, I don't believe. No, I don't believe.

I typically just don't go into the Heineken dome at all, but that is a pretty solid line up for it.

I'm mostly hoping for a Farina afterparty again (which I missed last year). I would say this makes it pretty likely.

Another solid line-up for the tiny cramped Heineken Dome. I wish they would make it bigger, but thats probably not going to happen. Happy for Farina, Justin Martin, and Julius Papp. Papp was much better than Farina the last time that I saw those two together. Roy Davis Jr. is another old school house guy that was really good back in the day. Don't know what he spins now, but I'd want to check it out.

Did he always go by this...is this the same motion potion from san Francisco that played last year and played the silent disco when we were at Roo?

Yup, I'm pretty sure Jenö has always gone by that name. I really enjoy when he lays into acid-house heavy tracks. And yes, Motion Potion is the same that was at Roo (and I guess last year, I don't remember).

I encourage moderate untzing at OSL. Justin Martin's new album is killer so hopefully his set is full of those tracks.

Sometimes that line is huge but other times it might look huge but it moves quick. We got in to see Doc Martin last year after just a five minute wait and it was definitely worth it.
