Default The String Cheese Incident 2012 anyone?

I was introduced to these guys recently. Really dig their vibe and think it would be a fun show on the polo grounds but not 100% sure if they quite fit with Chella...Thoughts?

^Woah asshat, Just askin' a question. Would have deleted the thread last night but don't see the option when I go to the advanced settings. Now kindly let this thread die or get the sand out of your vagina and stop being so grumpy for no apparent reason other than to let someone know they are wrong.

I cant keep traveling to the east coast fopr good music.

take whatever you want and just send me everything Tennessee has.

btw...string cheese....if you didnt find out about them last week....typically doesnt play much in california, they always sell out and you need to be on a mailing list or in the know to see the shows. Its almost like an underground thing if your not looking for them. I highly doubt they would play coachella ever....so calm down.

If you see a live set, its possible you will know most the songs without ever being at a show of thiers before......plus they channel The Dead.

starting to think you're a lonely douchebag. I personally didn't think they would fit but that doesn't mean I don't think they'd be fun to see live. Go drown in a puddle of curdled afterbirth and cum drippings

It wouldn't hurt Coachella to have a jamband or 2 or more than 1 bluegrass band.

Meanwhile there will be 10+ dubstep acts and some overrated rap

Can't believe the vituperative responses here. This is an inclusive, eclectic festival that has had Shooter Jennings, Flogging Molly, Ozomatli, Leonard Cohen, Gil Scott-Herron, Trampled by Turtles, MEN, Jay-Z and Scala & Kolacny Brothers in the last few years. Surely, there is room for a talented outfit like TSCI. Remember, there are five stages.

SCI would get two songs in before the sound was cut. go to EFF if you want to see that shit. I'm sure they'll play like, 10 shows at red rocks too.

But what exactly is a Coachella artist look and sound like? Yes coachella hasn't had a Jam band headliner but every band is so diverse. I wasn't aware a band had to have a certain look or sound to play Coachella.

you people are acting like tsci doesn't tour. hcb is right, each of their songs are over 20 minutes so do you really think they would fly all their gear out to coachella and waste their time to do a measly little one hour set? the only festival that supports their ridiculously long shows is bonnaroo or their own festival they made.

I love seeing folk/blue grass/country acts on the line-up. Jam bands... not so much. Save it for Bonnaroo.
