I distinctly remember when I visited Circus Circus as a kid, opening up the windows in the new tower and looking straight down thinking anyone could fit through these bars. Not only that, but for some reason I specifically recall how enticing the windows actually looked to climb through.

Pretty sure they've done major renovations since then.

Does nick's postulate that there are media outlets that, immediately after the event, try to find out if anyone has died count as an actual contribution? Because if it does, then I'm confused as to how a supplementary comment pointing out (albeit, indirectly and through the use of sarcasm) that that's typically what the media does doesn't qualify as an actual contribution to the discussion at hand.

Dancesafe have chronicled the controversy the organization has endured over the years & EDC's oust from L.A. I never had a bad experience dealing with dancesafe back in the day. I wish they were still allowed at events. Yeah I realize on site testing can have flaws but there are more and more research chemicals and combinations being passed off as ecstasy by scammers.

I wish they were still allowed at events. Yeah I realize on site testing can have flaws but there are more and more research chemicals and combinations being passed off as ecstasy by scammers.

It doesn't matter how pure a pill is (Dancesafe only tests for the presence of MD** compounds anyway, they can not tell someone if a pill has been cut, or what it has been cut with. They can only tell if the pill is MD** or if it is something else entirely. The presence of MD** will not allow their tests to show the presence of other drugs. That can only be done in a lab NOT in a field test such as used to be done by dancesafe) - there is no way to predict how an individual will react to any drug or how the drug/s (legal or not) that the user is already taking will affect that reaction.

It seems like that girl was on some meth based pills or possibly some 2CI - I've been to a few events lately where folks have been getting 2C-(whatever) instead of molly. They look very similar, although the capsules with 2CI usually look like a shortened dose of molly. I've found the powdered forms of 2C to have some strange reactions with my body and only prefer the super rare (but way better) pro pressed 2CBs, it will usually be shaped smaller than an E pill and have a nice candy coating finish. Usually it will have a bee on it also. I believe these rare puppies are the little supply of what is left from the days when 2CB was sold in smart shops around Europe/Asia.

Now we've touched a little on having an onsite drug testing booth at events which I believe was perked up by the girl who jumped out of her Circus Circus hotel room (Totally put blame on travel companions) and I believe it wasn't Molly or MDMA that she took, but a different drug like 2CI or a strong meth based E pill.
