my bad. that was a bold and inaccurate statement on his part
Have you guys seen this? Pic posted of a meeting being held for EDC, with what looks to be a venue map in the background:

Edit: Here is a blown up pic
Setup looks mostly the same except the cosmic meadow faces the stands and they rotated the basspod away from the main stage..but I dont see the Q dance stage anywhere.

Pasquale specifically said there would be 7 stages. Wish the Cosmic Meadow was left alone, my favorite stage last year.![]()
Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
2011 Perfectchella.
he also said they are using the entirety of the speedway as compared to the 70% that they used last year. that left part of the speedway looks pretty empty in that picture. prob where a coupe stages will be
Ok for sure, I hadn't heard that. There was definitely a bunch of unused space over there but I figured it was where the fireworks were as well as all the equipment and vehicles, and staff tents and stuff.
Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
2011 Perfectchella.
I hope the cosmic field grass area isn't too affected by the rotation. The bamboo stage and grass towards the back was the spot to be around for that weekend last year!
Haha so at first i thought "oooo00 coool! Q dance is some amazing stage production team!" That would have been amazing!....I then realized they are talking about a stage for "Hardstyle"![]()
Paul is dead
fuck it man, thats a night you find you have less to see, take some enhancers and get stupid with the masses
The fireworks were shot up from a spot in the parking lot area, I walked by it 2 out of 3 nights on my way in. The unused space last year was filled with all the trailors and stuff from hauling equipment there but there was a ton of space outside the stadium for those trucks to go and I think they realized that and will probably do that so they can use the whole thing.
Call me crazy, but, EDCs lineup is slightly better than DEMF (for me). DEMF has an inherent advantage because it's a techno festival while EDC has other genres they have to include. But, there isn't a single stage at DEMF that's going to even come close to the techno stage at EDC. EDC has the advantage of compressing all theses great acts together instead of sprinkling them around multiple stages. When I look at DEMFs lineup as a whole it looks great, but when I start to get in to the details, it gets kind of meh. For me, it's EDC by a glow stick.
Prediction: your entire perspective will change drastically after you actually go to DEMF.

Now when I look @ these 2 lineups the difference I see is that this year demf is geared much more towards the Deep Housey end of things and EDC is geared more towards the Techno and Tech House side of things.
I would still take edcs lineup based on the big dogs Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Danny Tenaglia, Dennis Ferrer, Dubfire, Gaiser, John Digweed, Lee Burrdige, Mark Knight, Martin Buttrich, Paco Osuna, Richie Hawtin, and Tiefschwarz
Now take a look at all of the DEMF after parties.

After parties that cost more money. One of the things I love about EDC is that it goes until 6am and I'm not forced to find after parties to keep my night going like a lot of festivals. I paid $200 for a ticket to an event, I don't want to have to pay for my ticket to the event just to have to either buy tickets to more events elsewhere or go home early.
Disclaimer: I am not saying EDC is better than DEMF, simply stating one thing I like about EDC that not many other festivals have going.

Yeah. But a DEMF pass is like $60, and after parties are around $20. It's a whole other ball game.

^ that's a pretty solid deal
Certainly not. I had GA to DEMF last year and never waited more than 20 minutes to get let into the festival.

Where are you guys seeing that Jamie jones is going to be playing at EDC?? I dont see him on the lineup page...
COACHELLA 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10...
They're using the "phase 2" some tard posted on plurlife, which has Chris Liebing on it while he's playing 2 shows in Australia on 6/9 & 6/10 so I don't think he can possibly play EDC. Jamie Jones has a show in Italy on the 6/8 so it's not a stretch at all for him to play Sunday, but nothing official has been released.

let plur life die.
a lot of those names are the exact same lineups from escape from wonderland and beyond wonderland. probably just left over from the codes for those sites or something.
