I assume that Moby is just playing a dj set?

Which also came with a 15 minute fireworks show including multi colored explosions. But, you know, that's just Burning Man.
I'm sure this will be there. (Behind a fence)

Also, this is just phase 1, there's no way that fills up the whole weekend. I'm so stoked to see carl cox, dubfire, john digweed, and paco osuna (never seen any of them before) and most of all this richie hawtin presents Enter thing. Also I'm sure they'll add Sasha later because of the SF date and maybe (hopefully) SMD
Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed. Oh well, it does say more TBA.
It's not horrible, it's just underwhelming.
I think there are a lot of names on there to be excited about
I'm REALLY hoping it is SMD Live over a DJ set.
Also, Dave Clarke isn't on that lineup so that makes me optimistic for the full thing.
Last year I didn't go because they hadn't given us a lineup and I didn't like the headliners. While EDC was going on I was bummed I wasn't there and people I talked to really loved it, so this year I got my ticket in January. I know it's going to be an awesome time and is about more than just the lineup (which again is pretty good) I just unwisely had gotten my hopes up for the Chemical Brothers.
Insomniac's savvy. They know that to compete with Coachellas and Ultras they need to be better than have the same headliner tier as last year. No way Phase 2 /3 don't have something bigger than Guetta / Tiesto. I mean, i don't know what that thing is, but, yeah.
So through a little bit of research I've discovered Richie Hawtin Presents Enter. is an arena concept he has put together that he curates. Loco Dice, Magda, Gaiser and him will be in it for sure. I wonder how big it is and what exactly it is. The only other festival to also have it booked so far is Creamfields and that's not until August so we might not know what exactly it is until we get there.
Where's Underworld and Mew? Make it happen GV.
intrigued by ENTER... HMMM... techno looks real good. really excited for Gaiser, and of course richie. other than that, wheres the tech house? seems like its all electro, trance, cheese.
where the fuck are the chemical brothers!!!
this is bullcrap.
wait a second...

Well last year they had 34 artists that played on the basspod stage throughout the weekend.
This year they have announced 23 artists who would absolutely play nothing but that same basspod stage
These are the few artists that could go either way as far what stage they will be on, which i did NOT count in the previous total of 23:
Andy C ALIVE - yes he played basspod last year but new live show will probably land him in cosmic meadow
Bassnectar - don't let the name fool you, he played cosmic meadow last year and is too big for basspod consideration
Chase & Status - live show probably wouldn't work on basspod, if it is a DJ set then basspod guaranteed
Kill the Noise - he used to be strictly electro but now that he is bros with Skrillex, and hangs with 12th planet he wants to be dubstep
Knife Party - they have dubstep "bassrush" ties but they are kind of versatile in their appeal, not likely at basspod but can't reject %100
Modestep - definitely dubstep bassrush crowd, they do dj sets but mainly live shows so it will depend on how they were booked
Bassrush experience - no idea what this is
Feed Me - seems to play more dubstep/bass events in Europe but I really don't know about him, he did NOT play basspod last year but I felt like he could be considered
So it is possible that the number 23 could be +/- to 25-27.
This is all assuming that the 2012 basspod will be similar to last years, which would definitely not be suitable for anything more than 2-3 dj's maximum. If the new basspod stage design is a fully functioning more accomodating stage then that makes some of my logic kaputt.
So using this stage as our frame and assuming that the set times will be about the same we could probably expect another 6-10 artists for the basspod area alone, maybe another 25-30 acts all together.
edit: as far as the basspod stage when I said 2-3 dj's maximum I meant for who could perform on the same stage at the same time, like Magnetic Man could play on that but any more than that would probably be too many people.
