Default Shoes - comfort or style?

I hate to admit it but I'm thinking of wearing my crocs to coachella this year...the last couple years i've ended up barefoot because my shoes were killing me - i'm actually finding the crocs fairly comfy (christmas gift)....

i realize they're a bit cheezy but: comfort or style?

I'm a reasonable man, get off my case.

    comfort!!!!
who gives a f*** what people think, they probably won't be looking at your feet that much anyways

you can always take them off for awhile if you want to dance, slam (mosh for the kids), or whatever

remember, you're going to be walking and standing a lot for 3 days

i notice people's feet, and i often laugh when i see them wearing uncomfortable shoes. However I never think "wow those are some awesome uncomfortable stylish shoes"

Comfort. Nothing better to watch than a dumbass in high heels. In the grass. Seriously.

Why not UGGS? Or, better yet, Louis Vuiton loafers?

I usually bring disposable flip flops into the festival. Coachella is too damn hot for shoes and socks. You must be bare footed.

Give your feet a vacation too, free your feet.

Ew, gaypalm. The hairs on the side of your bathtub aren't helping that scene.

I'm just gonna wear some sneakers. They're not hideous, or uncomfortable.

Crocs are still ridiculous, no matter how comfortable they are. As are uggs.

How about coverse? Are those good to wear? They are comfortable, light AND stylish! Anyone think they are a bad idea? I usually wear them to concerts, but this is my first festival (besides warped tour... the sad excuse for a festival it is) I just dont want my shoes ripped off my feet during any bands with mosh pits. And yes, I do realize there will only be like 4 or 5 bands with mosh pits. I just wanna leave Rage with two shoes!!!

Old puma romas. I could care less if they get fucked up in a pit but all things considered they'll still look alright. I win!

you're right PF, after I wrote that, I thought about it a little more

I do the same thing - not only with shoes, but also with clothes

still ... wear what will get you through the day with as little discomfort as possible

Comfort. Last year was the first year I seen a couple of women wearing heels to this event (in the grass!).
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

Comfort or style? Is this a trick question?

^Those just seem like they would make your feet sweaty, being all plasticy looking, or do those holes stop all that?! Either way they aren't very cute, but I think this is one event where you should definitely choose comfort over style. I'll be rocking my oldest, but most comfy pair of tennies that I wear to any gig in which I know I'll have to stand for a long period of time. Although I think I might get some of those gel insert things for the heels as mine always kill me at the end of the long days of Coachella walking around/standing.

Those crocs remind me of the jelly shoes from the 80's. Remember those, ladies?

Converse--I'll actually probably be wearing a pair myself; as long as you can stand to walk around in them for 12 hours a day, three days in a row, you'll be good.

My Chuck T's have ZERO arch support, so a day of standing in them and my dogs were barking like I'd rattled all their cages!
    Don't recommend them personally...
