    Default Iggy & The Stooges

As previously reported, Iggy and the Stooges have had to postpone their upcoming U.S. shows due to Iggy Pop suffering a broken foot during their appearance in Romania. As a result, the following Los Angeles and San Francisco concert dates (which had been originally scheduled for September 7, 12, and 13, respectively) have been changed. The Las Vegas date at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is yet to be determined.

    •Los Angeles - Hollywood Palladium - December 1, 2011
    •San Francisco - The Warfield - December 4, 2011
    •San Francisco - The Warfield - December 6, 2011

From what I gather Vegas is yet to be determined. I know Tiesto has The Joint booked for Dec 3rd, that means Dec 2nd would be the obvious date.
Given the original date was struggling in terms of ticket sales, it wouldn't surprise me if money is the issue.

Well, last week I received a phone call saying that the show was going to be rescheduled and now I just received an email stating that my money would be refunded. Maybe I'll have to plan a trip up to San Francisco. WTF. This was the only thing that I've been looking forward to all year.

Would be nice if they could switch to either The Pearl or House of Blues.

I would kill to see them at the House of Blues. That place would be fucking destroyed during that concert. It's by far my favorite venue.

I hate the Pearl because you have to go out of the venue to get a drink and the vide there just isn't as cool. I've never really seen the crowd get nuts there.

The Cosmo ballroom would be sick. I hope that they reschedule!

So the show was incredible last night! He still has so much energy. He was running all over the stage, stage diving(with a newly healed foot), and climbing amps like it was a fuckin jungle gym. He really loves his audience it is so apparent. He invited everyone on stage again, almost made it but the song started so they stopped allowing people. The pit was fun, mostly vigorous dancers no meatheads with gorilla arms.

As the show let out a security gaurd gave me a wristband to go backstage(probably because my boobs kept falling out of my shirt). I got back stage and waited around for an hour before someone finally told me that he left right after the set and was already on hi way somewhere else. I was livid! Oh well, Tuesday is another day, hopefully I'll get on stage.

All-in-all, excellent performance! Search and Destroy was the second song played and "Wanna Be Your Dog" was second to closer.
