I don't really understand the hate for the Do-Lab. Don't you people get hot? Besides, when there are some dark jungle beats playing it's a lot of fun. I agree the music is usually subpar in there, but not all the time.

People hate(d) the Do-Lab because the constant shitty sound of "womp womp womp" causes massive sound bleed.

It was fine in 2011 though. I could actually get inside and get wet (unlike 2010). Perfect design IMO.

The 2011 design sucked. In fact, the look and design of the Do Lab gets worse every year.

Eh, I'd rather the Do-Lab cut down on sound bleed than look cool.

While I agree about the soundbleed, I really miss the Do lab of 2008 and 2009, where it felt much more like an immersive environment rather than just another stage.

I just want an aesthetically pleasing place to cool off when needed. Could do without the womp womp womp.

THIS. Exactly this. The ones in 2007 and 2008 were great... that one in 2009 was PERFECT... they blew it in 2010 though. This year was better because they took care of the soundbleed, but I never really went near it. The 2009 was by far the best.

Also. I support Meatloaf performing Phish covers a capella. Simply because anything's possible.

    This.

The design is a secondary issue to the sound bleed. I mean I understand wanting it to look nice, but who gives a fuck how nice it looks when you can't hear the act you want to on the main/outdoor because of what's being spewed from the Do Lab?

The Rolling Stones, with special guests Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, perform "Exile on Main Street" to close out Sunday night.

I enjoy the Do-LaB, but I think the last couple years have been pretty ugly. I really liked the original Pod design and the 2009 wooden crates look. I wish they would do like rope swing/bridge theme one year. That would be cool. Being able to climb up rope ladders and cargo nets and walk/dance across rope bridges with wooden planks.

you laugh, but i've actually seen Kid Rock headline the Main Stage on the polo field...

Can't we just put the Do Lab where the dome was, and move the dome back to the campground?

Bracelet packaging will provide us with wholesale pricing quotes on thickets, potent and effective antivirals, video tutorials on dancingsofast, and video clips proving that girl could have flown from the ferris wheel.
