Lazy booking is lazy.
Maybe they just haven't announced the LA date because they're playing with the arctic monkeys?
5/25-5/27: MOVEMENT DETROIT
6/6: The Field @ The Independent
6/26: Colin Stetson @ The Chapel
If The Black Keys and Bjork headline one night I wouldn't have a problem, but Bjork alone or TBK alone would suck
Ok, someone just texted me the headliners. I'm too scared to tell you, but I've put a clue below (in white, in case you don't want spoilers).

Radiohead Foo Fighters Sigur Ros = 28
Radiohead Foo Fighters Daft Punk = 28
Final answers (dreams). I can't believe I played into that 28 bullshit.
Fuck me!
Black Sabbath guys. They would be a logical headliner. Of course.
I wouldn't mind seeing tBKs on the poster again, though not as a headliner.
The Shins:
04-13 Las Vegas, NV - Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - The Pool
04-22 Santa Cruz, CA - Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium
04-23 Davis, CA - Robert Mondavi Center
04-25 Reno, NV - Grand Sierra Resort & Casino
Has anyone mentioned Frank Turner yet? He played an awesome set back in 2010 and just released a new album last year. I just took a look at his tour dates and it looks like he's got a month off in April while he's in the so cal/Arizona area...

Just like The Black Keys benefited from the vacuum created by The White Stripes, The Shins owe their entire career to emerging during the shitty barren musical wasteland of the early 2000s.
Not a bad band, but not a really great one either.
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."

The Shins + late afternoon set + Fresher = not a bad way to spend 40 minutes.
Beautiful, thanks for this.
After ducking out of LCD Soundsystem, I cut through the Mojave during the downtime before The Black Keys and the place was a total ghostland. I only remember because Pulp was playing over the PA.
They can put Perry Farrell and his wife embarrassing themselves under yet another name as the headliner and I'll still go if the latest rumors/leads pan out.
