This is speculation more or less, but Sigur Ros did a Q & A with fans at the Venice Film Festival a bit ago and apparently they said they were coming out with a new album in 2012 and would also be touring.

EDIT* I've been able to confirm that they did in fact do a Q & A... there just isn't a transcript of the session(I couldn't find one anyway).

I can confirm the rumor that I will be at Coachella 2012.

After playing in Las Vegas, I talked to members in both Walk the Moon and The Naked and Famous, and both said they "don't know" if they're playing, but it's definitely a possibility. Additionally, for what it's worth, the drummer of Walk the Moon immediately smirked when I asked him. I think that's their way of saying yes without actually saying yes.

Young the Giant will be there. My sister is friends with some of the band members because they went to the same high school and they told her that they're "not allowed to talk about it"

Also, Bassnectar said at his show at the palladium on friday that he "MIGHT (then he laughed) see us at coachella this year"
