There may already be an Adele thread, but I couldn't find one.
What does everyone think about her being a potential act for 2012? Based on how much she has blown up - I'm guessing sub-headliner possibility?

I think she would be a shoo-in, but there are several articles where she mentions her severe case of stage fright and that she will never play a festival.
they tried to book her in '08, but she had conflicting dates..
As a third liner or below I support.
^agreed
Upcoming Concerts:
4/16-Crystal Castles @ The Beacham/Orlando, FL
4/19-4/21- COACHELLA
5/3- Matt & Kim @ Northcote Social Club/Northcote, VIC, Australia
6/20- Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra @ The Forum Theatre/Melbourne, VIC, Australia
I think she discussed that she suffers from stage fright, but is better able to manage it when the gig is her own.
Quote: She said: "I don't do festivals. The thought scares the life out of me, even talking about it. The thought of that many people coming to see you or no-one coming to see you is terrifying."
That said, I don't think her style works too well in festivals like Coachella.
She seems more appropriate to something like Playboy Jazz Festival
6/21/13-6/23/13 - Solid Sound Music Festival - MASS MOCA

I don't see why it wouldn't. There have been a few artists like her that have played Coachella and pulled it off just fine.
The "no festivals" thing must have become a thing when she became more popular. I saw her perform at Bonnaroo 2008 to a 20-percent-full Gobi-sized tent. She was alright. It was a somewhat pleasant way to get some shade early in the day.
Yeah, it would work if she was playing a tent, but her name and current success (fee) would have her near the top of the billing. I just couldn't see her performing on a Main Stage or Outdoor Stage because her style is quite introverted.
I will have a guess she will headlining the Hollywood Bowl next summer, given the huge demand for her last tour.
put her in the do lab

Watch her be booked as the weak headliner of next year
I'ma ball at the mall shuttin' down the sea wall
If she's there she gets Mumford & Sons billing. Not saying I agree with it, just calling it how I see it.
She's had the best selling album of the year thus far, hasn't she? I can see her getting sub-headliner billing. As nice as her albums are, she seems like such a dull live performer, though. Everything's so insular with her.
She played Bonnaroo in 2008.
2012 Coachella & TBA
2011 Wakarusa & Bonnaroo
2010 Coachella
2009 Bonnaroo
2008 Wakarusa
Adele is forced to cancel U.S. tour due to vocal problems
"The voice behind the hottest-selling album of the year, Adele, has been forced to cancel her sold-out 10-date U.S. tour due to a hemorrhage to her vocal cord.
That's the second time this year that vocal cord issues have forced the British singer, whose "21" is this year's biggest-selling album in the U.K. and the United States, to postpone dates.
Adele had just wrapped a U.K. tour and was prepared to launch her U.S. tour Friday, Oct. 7, in Atlantic City, when doctors advised the star that she'll need an extended rest period to recuperate properly."

I bet if she ate healthier she wouldn't be having these issues. Maybe she should start exercising too.
With our love-we could save the world-if they only knew.
Whata dick
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
I support adele for 2012 / Last on third line or first on 4th
The only thing that would bother me is the sound bleed. She has a lot of quiet songs and if you like her music you know it's nothing if you can't hear the voice.
Lord Huron -> C2C -> Beardyman -> Pete Tong -> Lee Scratch Perry -> Modest Mouse -> Beach House -> Purity Ring -> Jurassic 5 -> How to Destroy Angels -> Birdy Nam Nam -> Allen Stone -> The Selecter -> Puscifer -> Violent Femmes -> Simian Mobile Disco -> Moby -> Wild Belle -> Grimes -> James Blake -> Pretty Lights -> Wu-Tang -> OMD -> Roni Size & Dynamite Mc -> Dead Can Dance
they could put her on the poster but she probably wouldn't show up anyway.
