These 2 bands are probably the most talked about bands on these boards. Who would you rather see at coachella again?
Daft Punk vs Radiohead
let the battle begin
Daft Punk
Radiohead
too hard... cant decide

Daft Punk put on amazing show and everything... But... for staying power, lyrics, musical diversity, emotional connection, and overall GREATNESS, Radiohead win out everytime against Daft Punk... Really, they shouldn't be compared at all because they are two completely different bands doing two completely different types of music... but... if you really had to pick, Radiohead, hands-down. Live show, albums, songs... pretty much everything.
But then again, Daft Punk are robots... That's gotta count for something?![]()
Buy the ticket, take the ride.
If this is the hardest decision in life, you live a pretty easy life.
this reminds me of that rollerblading joke. you've heard it.
Radiohead by a loooooonng shot
Jebus loves me
I think they should both be added (non-conflicting times/days) just so we don't have to make a choice.
"Yeah chicks go nuts for that... the male camel toe."
"Yea yea! The camel tail."
This is kinda hard because Daft Punk are so entertaining, and I've only seen them live once. Radiohead is much closer to my heart though. I'm not voting.

my hardest decision in life is what to hvae for breakfast...but as for this Radiohead easily. Daft Punk was amazing but it is still 2 french guys in robot suits pressing buttons.
lollipops and crisps
i like Feist.
i will find and slap you in the sahara tent. you best hide.
portishead please.
I'd only miss Radiohead for Portishead or Pulp.
I wouldn't mis Radiohead for my own wedding, let alone Daft Punk...
the hardest decision i've ever made was choosing to do a personal appearance at the grand opening of a mattress store in burbank over auditioning for a spot in Beethoven 4, a role judge reinhold ended up getting.
I will reiterate that Radiohead live was not mindblowing in any way and that while Daft Punk was incredible and I am looking forward to seeing them again, they will never match what happened at Coachella ever again. That performance was special in too many ways.

I just don't understand the hero worship of Radiohead. They have made some good records, some great records. None bad. And their live show was good. But in no way have they done anything that I've seen where I am ready to put them on a pedestal and worship them.
I would rather see The White Stripes than Radiohead any day. Which again, is not to say Radiohead is bad in any way. But I have enjoyed the White Stripes live so much more.
That explains it all. The White Stripes aren't that good live.
Uhh, yeah they are.

I would rather see a rock n' roll show than an art rock show. Again, this is nothing against Radiohead and not to say their show was without merit or not good. But I'd rather see The White Stripes play without a setlist and play 30 songs than Jonny noodle with a Kaoss pad while Ed creates a loop with his pedalboard and Phil plays a lemon-shaped shaker and Thom wails and Colin stands there. Though I enjoy listening to some of the fun stuff Radiohead do live. Ala the radio on The National Anthem, etc. They are certainly creative.
