Sean Miller's recruiting has been beastly since his arrival in the desert.
Furthermore, I'm reeeeally looking forward to this season. With Andre Drummond now heading to UConn the amount of NBA talent this year is outstanding.

Glad the KU and UCLA fans posted. You guys realize you're the ones hurting the most from Sean Miller's brilliance?
Not that Arizona basketball ever went away, but we're going to be in the mix for championships for years to come. Very exciting times. And all of our games will be on national television, so all you bitch ass UNC and Duke bandwagooneers can watch too.
Hope you're all ready for a lot of this next year:

Should be an interesting year for KU, considering they should have a tougher regular season schedule than last year. Also kinda glad they are not as highly ranked going in, as I find that being highly ranked in the preseason is pretty overrated.
Nick Johnson is going to be so much fun to watch. Can't wait.
Duke...can't wait to avenge that AZ upset. For some reason, you fans irk me as much as UNC fans.
Blah, blah, blah....new year, same ol' Tommy. And it was an upset, check your definition.

You seem to forget what happened that night.

That's a great picture. Hah.
And it wasn't an upset. I don't care what the seeds say. If you watch college basketball, you'll know just how much parity there really was last year. The term "upset" is so overused. Use the eye test and you'll figure out that there aren't as many upsets as the media likes to claim. They just say cliche things like that for the drama. There are some who call a 9 beating an 8 an upset. That's just ridiculous, but it's said all the time. The only real upset I can think of past the first weekend was VCU beating Kansas in the Elite 8.
tl;dr - dook sucks
and for mr. ucla noob, this says it all:

That was him then, this is him now.
My dad and I went to an AAU tournament to check out Josiah and Nick w/ the Soldiers last year, and actually afterwards felt that the best player on the floor was Ashley. That's saying a god damned lot...
I don't think it's actually that critical for him to put on weight, seeing as he'll be playing on the wing plenty. He just needs to start practicing against stiffer competition from what I've heard, it's become too easy for him on the AAU circuit. He's too quick and agile for the big guys, and too long for the smaller ones.
Jerrett on the other hand definitely needs some weight.
Holy shit that's impressive.

KU has a history of losing to mid majors in the tournament. While I can't say I expected to VCU to beat KU, it came at no surprise. Bill Self simply isn't that good of coach; there, I said it. And from what I read on KU fansites, it seems many fans agree with me. The dude is so desperate he just offered a two star juco transfer from Florida... this is while he's trying to recruit TK; he doesn't seem so confident to me. With that said KU has a great tradition and will always field good teams.
I'm really looking forward to:
Zona vs Gonzaga (Seattle)
Zona vs Florida (Gainesville)
Zona vs ASU (Tucson)

Hey Bluedevil bandwagoneer, I bet your boy Singler is out in Spain getting humiliated just like he does in this video.

So basically if we land Tarc, we're cheating? The internet doesn't seem to want to accept Arizona landing the top talent. If this were UNC no one would bat an eye. It's irregular to stack the frontcourt like this, sure... but it's happened plenty of times in the back court.
edit: I'd link an article concerning this, but I'd have to link every Udub, Kansas, UCLA, and Kentucky site on the net.
It's basically to the point that Miller is landing the majority of the recruits he targets. Even if they don't land Tarc, there are two other big men they are targeting that would be solid additions. They plan on adding another big man regardless of landing Tarc or not.
If Miller knows he isn't going to land someone, he stops pursuing. It happened with Josh Selby, Doron Lamb in the past and now Shabazz Muhammad this summer. He doesn't waste his time and he knows how to talk to kids. They still think they have a legit shot with Tarc.
I don't like Tarc whatsoever. I'd rather take Upshaw or House.. And if I was Miller I'd call up Shabazz and be all, "Let's win a fucking championship"

A predisposed dislike of the white 7 footer eurocenter + I've not actually heard much positive stuff about him other than his NBA-type body.
He just sounds like dead weight. I hope im completely wrong in the case that he comes to Zona.
I'm serious though about my previous statement. Someone like Shabazz Muhammed knows he's only going to be in the NCAA for one year. He needs someone who can develop him for the NBA. He wants to win a championship.
Knowing those three things, no matter how behind Miller and Zona are in his recruitment, don't you think it'd be worth throwing out a few messages to him saying, "Lets win a championship."? I played HS basketball and never even thought about DI, but if i was in Shabazz's shoes I'd definitely consider the idea. He knows everyone on our team, we're going to win and we'd be super close to home for him...
i dunno... just a thought
