So I went to The Mid last night and saw MSTRKRFT. Interesting venue, hate the layout of the place, sound wasnt too incredible either when you walk around the venue either. The crowd seemed really good though, so different to the LA Avalon douchebag city type of attendance Im used to. Took the Green line to Clinton then hopped in a quick cheap cab, is that the easist way to get to the venue? I saw M83 earlier in the night and asked a hipster after the show how to get there and he had no convient easy way answer. Lol
    Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
    Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27

It's been there from the beginning.. the weak Britpop headliners Friday; the rumors that DP was gonna play, that it was a done deal, then all of a sudden 'oops, no, not gonna happen'; and now the new album. It's all so obvious.

Ugh. The Mid. I always got there by taking the Blue Line to Grand (right?) and walking south on Halsted over the bridge.

Do Division street fest is pretty solid once again.

Paul: If you had a decent time at MSTRKRFT at The Mid, then you will do well in the Chicago club scene. Every other venue and club I've been to is much better.

St. Louis, the middle of everywhere.
"How long will this last, this delicious feeling of being alive, of having penetrated the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas? It doesn't matter, as there can be nothing but gratitude for even a glimpse of what exists for those who can become open to it."
