Ok after reading this post and other posts.. I need to know who is the essential (must see) in this line up..

    Right now I have:

Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture, Arcade Fire (taking a big chance since I find their funeral album a bit boring), Against Me, Andrew Bird, Justice, and Spank Rock.. I'm listening to Spank Rock on I-Tunes right now.. how the hell did I miss this album.. fuqing awesome.. So give me a list of who is essential.. I will by you a water at the show.. thank you..

I saw Bjork with the Sugarcubes years ago - awesome!

More recently - Felix da Housecat, OK

Paul Van Dyk - seen him a lot, sometimes too slow and dull, sometimes great sets (hard trance)

Richie Hawtin - seen him a lot, but never enough!! Sometimes he can be a little bit minimal, but when he's on - look out!!

RHCP: x2 when i was a diehard fan. i guess it was okay then but i look back in shame shame shame.

arcade fire: if you don't go and see these guys you have no soul. best live act in the world.

RATM: i was way too young, i don't remember at all. i was basically born backstage at their shows. i'm not even joking.

placebo: seeing brian molko impregnated me.

    Interpol
    Rufus Wainwright
    Comedians of Comedy
Red Hot Chili Peppers (headlining yet another festival, I was forced, they were terrible)
The Muthafucking Arcade Fire (should be their new name, spectacular)
The Decemberists (ok, not the whole band, but Colin Meloy)
    Hot Chip
    The Frames (meh)
    Air
    Kaiser Chiefs
    Damien Rice

Hmm...this is the year I've seen the least, interesting.

I feel sorry for whoever is up against the Arcade Fire. they might get 10 people watching them, the other 59,990 will be watching Aracde Fire.

I'm gonna want to be up close for Arcade Fire, but I know i'd have to camp at the stage all day, and saturday is soo packed for me, i dont want to miss much..

    anyway, who i've seen

    Friday:
Silversun Pickups - pretty good, got bored eventually..

    Saturday:
Arcade Fire - coachella '05.. best show i've ever seen.
Decemberists - tremendous, they don't disappoint
Regina Spektor (x2) - without the band, unbelievable; with the band, bland
Ozomatli - loooong time ago, but i'm pretty sure i hated them

    Sunday:
CSS (x2) - so much fun, lovefoxxx will get drunk and crowdsurf, guaranteed
Tapes 'n Tapes - like their cd a lot, solid if unspectacular live..

Air- in '04 unbelievable set at sunset
Rage Against the Machine - At Lollapaloza in '94. They were great at the time but I don't think I want to see them now.
CSS - Opened up for Ladytron. A ton of energy. Not sure how it will work at Coachella since the lead singer liked jumping off the stage and dancing in the crowd.
