Default I suppose it's time to start looking.

So I usually camp, and I did buy a camping ticket, but as much as I love the chaos, I feel like I'm getting too old for the noise and the lines. I suppose it's time to be an adult and look for a hotel. Usually I am the only ticket buyer of my friends until the last minute and then year after year find perfect strangers to hang out with for the weekend. This year will probably be no different. I already bought my ticket, and see no takers amongst my friends. I am a planner and so I guess my question is, where and how much should a solo party girl like me dish out for a hotel room?

If I were you I'd go for cheap and cheerful - you'll be on your own, so let's face it you'll use it to grab about 4 hours of shuteye a night and not much else. Close to the venue but clean/economical would be what I'd go for. I thought this link would be helpful.

I have no experience what so ever in Coachella, but I reserved a room for when I arrive in April before I head to the campgrounds and I reserved for $64 at the Travelodge (back when they announced the dates), but I forgot to get a room for the 3 days after the festival and I check yesterday and the same room I reserved is now $386. That's a big price increase, I guess my point would be to start looking like NOW.
