Yes, because lowering a screen to fix it totally qualifies as "stage near-collapse." It's been quite windy at Coachella before, so if it was EVER to happen, I would have happened by now. I can only imagine the laws in California regarding outdoor stages are pretty strict since there a lot of outdoor events, such as concerts, in which stage setups and the other nessessary rigging are needed, unlike Indiana, who unfortunately, does NOT have as good safety standards (no manditory safety inspections of free standing stages in Indiana). Anyone who works for stage crews in California, please feel free to chime in.

That's why I refuse to be up front in the pit for almost all bands. If im not willing to die to see the band im gonna be at a safe distance.

I was on mushrooms at bonnaroo and I couldn't enjoy the set because I was waiting for the giant neon THAT TENT sign to fall on the crowd...sucked. I was 100% sure the minute I took my eyes off of it, it would crush fifty people and ruin everything.
