Okay, here's a crazy idea, if anyone's wiling to help us out.

I have these two tickets for the mezzanie. We can get into the venue, just not into GA. If someone with a GA ticket trades us once they've already gotten in, we could get into GA! Would anyone be as kind as to help us with this?

I know it's kind of a weird request but we would be so grateful and would make sure to bring you lots of goodies and good vibes! We're just two kids who wan to be able to have room to dance

Argh! Well, perhaps someone is interested in trying, just to see if we can make it work? We would go in and give your tickets back to you right when we got into GA, as we're not interested in leaving to go to the bar or anything.

how does the GA work at the fox? i live in los angeles and when i go to the wiltern for shows you need to show your ga ticket every time, but if you get there early enough you can exchange it for a wristband to the pit/first tier of the GA standing which they block off at a certain point so it's not too crowded - is the fox like this or is it just one big section of GA?

also, if you have print at home tix, im thinking you can just print out extra copies for people in mezzanine and give them to them once they use their mezzanine tix to get in the venue so they can use the copies to get into GA..thoughts on this?

At the Fox, the entire GA section is open - you can go wherever you like on that level as long as there is space. They usually do wristbands for the entire GA level, and sometimes you have to show your ticket as well as your wristband to get back in. Never thought of printing extras (I always go for hard tickets), that might work since only scan the ticket at the door. Or course you'd have to trust the person not to use your ticket at the door.

less packed shows they make you show a ticket and don't bother with wristbands.

printing multiple copies would probably work, come to think of it. use your balcony tickets to get through the door, then inside switch to your printed extras to get a GA wristband. pretty clever.

edit - i saw in a previous post that this show will definitely be over by midnight..has there been confirmation of this? if so, how are they going to fit 3 openers in there - is shpongle going to have a full 90-120 min set or are they gonna be on stage for an hour only? i wish they could play the full 4 themselves haha

APE emailed me back saying the plan at the time was for it to end at midnight. it sounded like it was subject to change. you can probably email them to ask if they know exact set times now. they'll get back to you.

90 minutes is a reasonable set time. some bands don't even play that long. I'd be satisfied with 90 mins.
