B-side of A Weekend In The City.

Nirvana had a ton of good B-Sides: Even in His Youth, Marigold, Moist Vagina. I'm not sure any of them were better than all of the album tracks, though.

Oasis - The Fame (left off of Be Here Now)
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

Yup those are all fantastic. Verse Chorus Verse should probably been on that list too. Old Age too.

How Soon Is Now. So much that they had to add it to all future pressings of the original album.

Those songs would have to be better than Interstellar Overdrive or Astronomy Domine, and they aren't

so this isn't technically qualified: it was the B-side of a single and then later included on a debut album, after the B-side became the hit. but still.

Nah, "In Heaven" is a cover song, and it wouldn't have been the best song on Come On Pilgrim.

Speaking of Pearl Jam, I would say Hard to Imagine, although it is cheating a little. It was first recorded for Vs (the best version) and then re-recorded for Vitalogy and supposedly No Code as they tried to find a spot for it. I wouldn't say it is better than the best stuff on Vs., but I think it bests what is on Vitalogy and No Code.

Dear God was originally the B-Side to Grass.

I don't remember exactly, but I think in the Pixies dvd, he says who wrote the song before they perform it. I don't remember the name, but I also might be thinking of a different song.

It was written by David Lynch. Or co-written, I think.
