Non concert stuff that people enjoy:

Watching the Bellagio fountains and seeing the gardens that change constantly in the casino.
The coolness of the Cosmopolitan, namely the P3 art studio, EA Sports Lounge, Vesper bar, the book and stage (saw Marina and the diamonds, Foster the people, Mayor Hawthorne and more for free here) with tons of free bands (that cost money to see in mostly every other city), etc.
The Mob Museum (not to be confused with the Mob Experience that is a little cheesy)
The Pinball Hall of Fame - Pinball Museum (best playable museum ever)
Chuck Jones Experience (great for the kids)
The Artisan Hotel (styled as if Nightmare Before Christmas and the Disneyland's Haunted Mansion had a hotel)
Lots of other stuff, you just have say what you are into.
The best Vegas show I've been to in a while is Absinthe, it's Cirque du Soliel with lots of dirty comedy. It's great.

    Stuff to avoid:

    Carrot top
Anybody passing out flyers on the strip
Free Limo to a strip club
    Anything at the Hooter's Casino

Best nude show goes to Crazy Horse Paris at the MGM.

Know anything about getting the tickets directly from Cosmo? Dodging some of those fees would be nice. Thanks for the info dude

This one is at the Palms. I can definitely get them for face value because I know someone at the venue. PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I'll add Circus Circus buffet. In fact any buffet that is less than $10.
Driving down the Strip on a weekend night-especially taxi's. Take the Strip bus or ask the taxi driver to take Paradise (east side casinos) or Industrial (west side casinos)
    Nightclub VIP table service

Yes the Circus Circus buffet is horrifying. I just remember walking by once and they were shoveling the scrambled eggs into the warmers and it looked like some sort of human hog trough. Scary! I was sad when they got rid of that psycho merry go round bar.

My wife laments the days during High School when Circus Circus used to have 99 cents all-you-can-eat pancakes. Apparently quite the hang out then. But yeah a few years ago I had to attend a conference at Circus Circus, they handed out free buffet coupons. I went in and circled the food stations for a good five minutes and walked out. Headed to the Steak House there. Pretty much always voted as one of the best by locals with some justification I might add.

If you have to eat a buffet, then Wicked Spoon (Cosmo) and M Resort are two of the best. More expensive, but well worth it for the quality. Wicked Spoon brunch with bloody marys, mimosas or champagne is worth the extra few bucks.

I just bought my ticket for Beck through the online pre-sale. The total ended being about $86 for GA after all of the fees.

    Those are 2 awesome buffets.

For some reason my friends miss the Mega Dog at Westward Ho. I thought it was horrifying...click image to make it larger!

The Sugar Factory in Paris is 24 hours and you can get desserts and meals all night. They have great desserts. Never tried the food.

If you want cheap and lots of food the Peppermill is the way to go. And that's 24 hours too.

We tried that drifting through groupon. It was fun but kind of shady and I wish you got more time based on how long the wait was.

    Awesome.

What about a nice-ish place to sit down and have a quality dinner, that's open late? Good food, but not too much $$$, since alcohol is already going to be a ton of the bill I'm sure. Looking to make a reservation somewhere for around 11 tomorrow.

Depends what you are looking for, but late post concert dining we tend to head for the casino cafes. Ellis Island does a good off-menu Steak Dinner for $8. Golden Gate does a good job too. Peppermill is also a decent late night dining choice.

Ellis Island on Koval next to the Super 8 hotel & one street behind Planet Hollywood. It's a micro brewery with tall brews for $2. The barbecue is good and the patio has a nice view of the backside of The Strip. The restaurant inside has great food also and is open 24hrs. Always killer food and cheap drink there. It also has the best karaoke lounge in Vegas supposedly.

Pretty much every restaurant in Cosmo is good Comme Ca (Modern French same one as on Melrose) and Blue Ribbon Sushi is amazing, you may not believe it but the ox tail fried rice and ox tail soup are amazing.

There is also a place called Oscar's Steak house on Fremont. Not sure how good it is but it's owned by the previous Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman (former Mob lawyer nicknamed the mouth piece) and the gimmick is that they have a good looking woman sit down and talk with you.

As far as I know these places are open to around midnight ish but definitely call to confirm!

Love Hash House, I remember when they only had one in San Diego! It's taking off.

Hofbrauhouse is tons of fun. It's the closest to actually being in the movie Beer Fest!

Oscars is fairly good. However be warned, if busy or late, that sometimes you are directed in to an overflow area shared with Simpactio (Italian Restaurant). They gave us just the Simpactio menu, although we found out later that we could have ordered from Oscars menu. Simpactio was simply terrible, one of only two times I have sent back a dish. This one was over the Chicken Parmigiani which came to me still clucking, they then compounded that by just cooking the chicken and returning it to me. Call me fussy, but when there is raw chicken on the plate, I want a new plate and the dish remade. The appetizer was also distinctly ordinary and we left.
Maybe it was just a bad night for them, but I've heard a few other people complain over the often long waits and fairly ordinary food.

Le Thai just down the road is open very late and always busy. I eat there a lot on weekends.

Peppermill is one of those guilty pleasures. It's definitely not 5 star dining but it's great late! And I love the lounge with the water fire pit.

Nothing guilty about Peppermill. My guilty pleasure is to hit up Tiffany's on Oakey/LV Blvd. Within walking distance of home.

If we're talking Thai restaurants (obviously both of these are off the strip, but nonetheless), Lotus of Siam and Komol are both incredible. Lotus of Siam is the more acclaimed/pricier of the two, but Komol still has delicious food and a very chill atmosphere compared to Lotus.

Also, super excited about Tenacious D. Wooooo

Yes those of those are amazing, I think they rightfully duel it out for the best Thai. Le Thai just has a great location next to Beauty Bar.

Now if we are talking Japanese or Chinese then Anime Ramen, Ramen Sora and Ichiza. So many great places in Chinatown, some make me feel like I am back in Hong Kong.

So many great Chinese places... Dim Sum... FUCK. excited to get back to Vegas for eats!

Komol and Lotus have to be one of the weirdest duos in Vegas restaurants... Literally 50 feet from one another. Lotus is always packed and Komol is always near empty, but you can arguably have a better/bigger meal at Komol just without some of the specialty plates Lotus offers. Like their bacon-wrapped prawns which are fucking insane. It sounds crazy as well but Komol has the BEST orange chicken I've ever had. That with some Pad Thai, Tom Ka, and a few Singhas... perfect dinner.
