ok, so i just found out i'm gonna be in Vegas for new years. what's a good website for concert schedules in vegas?

Ticketmaster offers the easiest options, but vegas.com has the more tourist friendly show listings.

Other than that las vegas city life gives the more local concerts listings. Most the casino venues are on Ticketmaster now.

I saw the Melt Banana show advertised at the Bunkhouse last week. My heart sank when I can got my schedule & saw that I had to work that night.

I have a ticket for the Guns n' Roses show. I kind of regret it too. We'll see what happens. Half of me thinks I can watch all of Stevie Wonder and the fireworks on the strip and not miss any of the Guns show despite the so called 8:00PM start time. They won't hit the stage until after the countdown.

I wouldn't bank on that. Even if you did there is still quite a walk from the Cosmopolitan to Hard Rock. I would guess 20-30 minutes with the amount of people.
Getting a taxi might be tough given the Strip will be closed down, as a result the traffic will congest on Paradise (where the Hard Rock is).

Jane's Addiction pulled out of their vegas show @ the joint for a family health emergency. Joy Formidable and Naked and Famous still playing. show is now free.

Las Vegas, NV (December 6, 2011) – Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jane’s Addiction had to cancel their performance at Holiday Havoc on December 7 because of a severe illness with one of their family members. Instead of cancelling the show completely, X107.5, AEG Live and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas are teaming up to offer the December 7th show as a free event for fans to catch the two opening bands, The Naked and Famous and The Joy Formidable. Refunds will be issued at the point of purchase for anyone with a paid ticket.

“X1075 sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused. We thank the fans and our listeners for their understanding and hope they can make it out for a free night of Holiday Havoc,” said Charese Fruge, KXTE Program Director. “Our hearts and minds go out to Jane’s Addiction band members and their families during this difficult time.”

Tickets are still available for the second night of Holiday Havoc on December 8 featuring Rise Against with special guests A Day To Remember and Middle Class Rut. Tickets can be purchased at the Hard Rock Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, www.Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone at 800.745.3000.

There will probably be 3-4 shows announced. You know what the casino's are like, they want weekend shows. But the Joint and Pearl have yet to announce a show. Wouldn't be surprised to see Noel Gallagher show up, wouldn't hold your breath hoping for that Radiohead-GY!BE show though.
