Well it is National Finals Rodeo week from Dec 1st to 10th. That should mean lots of country acts like Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith to choose from

Given its NFR week, that means hotels tend to get pricier so it is advisable to make reservations fairly early to avoid spiking prices.

Death Cab For Cutie at The Boulevard tonight. There is also Adele at the Ballroom. This means parking at the Cosmopolitan will be a clusterfuck to top Coachella 10. As a result parking will be as follows:

Guest Parking
To meet the needs of our guests who will be attending Adele at The Chelsea and Death Cab For Cutie at The Boulevard Pool on Saturday, 8/20, The Cosmopolitan will offer overflow parking. From Harmon and Polaris, guests will head North on Polaris until they reach a dead end, where the lot is located. Complimentary shuttle service will go to and from the overflow lot for 5pm – 5am on Saturday 8/20.

Alternatively you might want to use parking at City Center, Planet Hollywood or Bellagio which are in good walking distance.

Give me a break I wouldn't even think of looking at a vegas show in the last couple months.The funny thing is the first/last time I saw the Stooges was at Vegoose.I hope to find Iggy and ask if it's ever going be possible for a show with "The Idiot" in it's entirely.

For some reason my post is not in order anymore. It was in response to blueblazer who has also since edited but anyway he just posted a link that's in the first post of th thread is all. No biggie.

I don't think I will be out for the Pumpkins show. At the moment I will be there for two shows. Roger Cyne & the Peacemakers at House of Blues (Labor Day Weekend) and Jay-Z / Kanye Watch the Throne at MGM (December).

If you didn't catch Walk the Moon at Cosmo yet, definitely check them out tonight at midnight at Book & Stage. I was hugely surprised and really enjoyed their set. I'm considering going again tonight.

Plus, I got to talk with their drummer for a bit last night and asked about a Coachella appearance. When I asked him, he kind of smirked and said, "It's a possibility, but we don't know yet." I'm guessing from the smirk/possibility comment, they're going to be there. I'm guessing these guys will be pretty huge by the time Coachella comes around.
