As much as you will stress that it doesn’t take any skill to draft a good fantasy team I think that it takes a level of scouting, number crunching, and risk taking to get all of those points on the board week in and week out and it says a little something about your football instincts, this is essentially what fantasy football is all about. It’s fun and it allows you to exercise and test your knowledge in something while at the same time having the ability to talk some shit and win some money.
If not being available for the draft is an issue. File a complaint. I'm not sure what your point is. I adjust my team and lineup weekly. I missed the draft and it's really not that important to me. If I don't get invited back because of this unforgivable act then so be it. Oh no. I have terrible football instincts. I don't know how i'll live with myself. I honestly had no idea that my absence from draft day was going to hurt so many feelings and take the fun out of the it for others. Was I the only one absent from the draft? Why wasn't this discussed prior to the draft when we were signing up and collecting money?

You find the fun in testing your knowledge and I find it in watching the game and pulling for my players to do well and making adjustments to improve my odds of winning. I guess we play for different reasons.

Dude, shut the fuck up and stop being a drama queen, I'm just explaining why BlueDevil kind of had a point, I'm not filing a complaint or threatening to sue or anything of that nature, consider it one of those "Just sayin..." instances.

    OKAY?

The draft is the best part of the entire fantasy football season.

I said lets not dwell form the get go. You replied by saying you really don't give a shit about the issue followed by 2 paragraphs that seemed to give a shit. I responded and got snarky. I apologize to you, you certainly should be able to voice your opinion without me being an asshole.

Disclaimers: defense not shown, points per game projects based on league scoring with Playa projections, ignore the grouping of Flex on the Bench

Best Starters: Boyz II Mendenhall & Cheddar's Cousins
Best Bench: Shnazzlewaffle / Fax Machines
Consistent Mix of Starters / Bench: Fax Machines
Consistently bad Mix of Starters / Bench: Sasha Grey CreamPies

Deepest Field Goal Unit: Fax Machines
Best Defensive Bench: Boyz II Mendenhall
8 of 12 flex positions would start a RB; the remainder: WR

Running Back Quantity over Quality: Vick's Puppy Patrol (7 of them)

Who needs a goddam QB anyway: Shnazzlewaffle
Awkward collection of Backup TEs and QBs: The Murder Boners
Friday: Aloe Blacc, ZZ Ward, Caravan Palace, MS MR, Bastille, OutKast, Grouplove, Kate Nash, HAIM, Jagwar Ma, Tom Odell, Neko Case

Yahoo selected Eli Manning and Ryan Fitzpatrick as your two quarterbacks, in addition to drafting you two kickers. You're pretty self-satisfied in light of these facts.

You do realize that second kicker was the 2nd to last pick of the entire draft right? The only player picked after him was another kicker, so it didn't damage my team in any way at all.

I didn't realize Eli Manning was a QB I should be ashamed of either. Lesson learned.

You shouldn't be proud or ashamed of anyone on your roster. This was all Yahoo's doing. But after a couple weeks of Eli running your team into the ground you may be in the market for a new QB, and Flacco will be languishing on my bench. We can talk trades then.

The fact that you are defending taking two kickers is highly laughable.

But the beauty of fantasy football is we will see how it all plays out on the field. As long as you manage your team throughout the season, I'm not going to give you any shit.

I love the shit talking, keep it going gentleman...

If anybody has anything to be ashamed of, I had one too many beers and selected fucking Deion Branch.

Also picked up Beanie's back up Stephens-Howling only on the assumption that the Cards are having some miserable luck this season with injuries so I suspect injury prone Beanie is next on that list, and homeboy had some flashes of decency in the pre-season.

Exactly. Talking shit to the other managers of the imaginary teams in your imaginary league is half the fun of our imaginary sport. Or you can go the other route and take everything personally, which usually only adds to everyone else's enjoyment.

What's laughable is having any reaction to something so meaningless. It literally means nothing. It's a player that gets dropped and I didn't miss out on any players because of it. This is the silliest trash talk I've ever seen. LOL

Now where's my week one opponent, The Murder Boners? From the Arian Brotherhood, this is for you.

So in response to PlayaDelWes, here are MY projected rankings of all the teams according to my site's points projections when I punch in every starting player in my permutation drafting sheet. Keep in mind this doesn't include kickers, defense or any bench players, just whoever you have starting. The numbers are the total projected points for your starters' season.

    1. She Said She Was 18 (1378)
    2. Boyz II Mendenhall (1323)
    3. buddy (1291)
    4. Fax Machines (1264)
    5. Cheddar's Cousins (1259)
    6. Angry Platypus (1251)
    7. The Murder Boners (1247)
    8. Vick's Puppy Patrol (1239)
    9. Arian Brotherhood (1234)
    10. Sasha Grey CreamPies (1227)
    11. shnazzlewaffle (1160)
    12. Aints No More (1144)

    Trade offer of the day:

18th ranked WR and 17 ranked TE for
    22 and 32 ranked WRs

Had to reject, primarily because any TE not in the top 5 is the same to me, but I'm happy to see some trade action being attempted.
