Im getting anxious for dates... Why is it some bands announce a tour or shows after they've already gone on sale?

Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
I like his dj sets more than his current live set up. He did a hybrid dj/live set in 2007 which was fucking killer... gives him more range. Hopefully the band has learned some new tracks by now.
Rhythm is a dancer.
i NEED to hear his what else is there remix
if i ever get a chance to i will but i seriously doubt he plays it anymore. bummer
I listened to his Essential Mix last night, you know you're BOSS when you can drop Chris Isaac.
Weak, Tickets now go on sale Jul. 22nd instead of today. Looks Like I will be buying tickets from my phone at Comic-Con.
well, hopefully this means tour dates will be announced within a week

No, it's SD. Plus LA kids have a date of their own now.
...
This show will be better than the LA show.
I imagine it will be treated like any other concert at the Henry Fonda and not like the dance nights that they occasionally set up there, and I do not believe the concerts are 21+.
Additionally, the promo from Goldenvoice mentions nothing about an age limit, nor does the Ticketmaster page for the show. So I'm going with "no"
And even the dance events I see on their calendar are 18+
