another thing, I ended up at the first tier last night because all front floor wristbands were gone. I got there at about 8.20. Seemed like everyone and their mother got there by 8 and just got a wristband and went upstairs to the roof and hung out til 10. And it was pretty lame since there was a ton of space on the floor, even during the show. Seems they are really limiting it now?

they wristband floor and balcony, just to seperate. If you have a floor ticket, you're fine. The fox is totally different set up. Its just a small gripe.

when I talked to one of the guys who worked on Amon's set up at Bassnectar he said floor definitely would be preferrable in his opinion.

Those preview videos were made only because the crew was bored and had to do something on Tuesday morning to avoid a scolding from Larry.

The first half of the show to me was visually stunning, but just like listening to the album to a REALLY fucking cool move. The second half of the show just killed me, though. The static-y visual part with the array of songs he played. Wow. The DnB song. So good. It is probably one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed visually. I have to say that I do prefer his normal sets musically, though and it has nothing to do with ISAM (I really like that album) and has more to do with showing you his ability.

Wow! Just got home from his show at the Music Box... I gotta say it was the best visual show I have ever seen. Absolutely speechless!

For the first 35 minutes or so, my view was mostly of tall boys' heads and people's camera phones videotaping entire songs high up in the air. Phone after phone after phone, all in a line, so that every video is going to have other phones in it. Finally I decided to go to the back and the view was better. I liked certain parts of it A LOT, where my jaw actually dropped, but some of it was just so-so to me. It did not beat my best visual show of all time (The Knife). I wish I hadn't hyped it up in my head as much, and just went in blindly to be pleasantly surprised. This would have been rad to just randomly run into at a festival.
