    Default Pitchfork Music Festival Paris

    Bon Iver to co-curate.

"The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris goes down October 28-29 at La Grande Halle de la Villette, a stunning 19th century glass and metal structure that stands in the center of the Parc de la Villette, the city's largest public cultural park. Over the course of the two-day event, more than 20 bands and a multitude of DJs will take over the 5,000-capacity venue."

"Confirmed bands in addition to Bon Iver include Jens Lekman, Wild Beasts, Cut Copy, Kathleen Edwards, and Pantha du Prince, with many more to come."

I'm definitely heading to this. Justin Vernon can curate me anytime.

"Windowlicker" is now substantially more likely to be played at this festival.

First night ruined by some guy that got so drunk that he blacked out during Aphex Twin. But enough about me....

The sound was great, but being stuck in there for 12 hrs (no in and outs) with only hot dogs and donuts for nourishment was not fun. That said, I'll probably go again. Just have a big meal before I go in.

Just realised it clashes with Iceland Airwaves, so won't be going this time.
