    He hasn't played LA in over 2 years and there's still nothing booked. I am thinking he is holding out to finally headline Coachella. He is one of the greatest and most popular performers of all time. He is exactly the sort of star power AEG/Goldenvoice needs in order to sell 150,000 tickets. One hit after another, no one can bring the constant flood of hits to have the Polo Fields jumping with joy. Come on people, let's hear it for Elton John.

    i was convinced last year was the year... when his tour schedule was released there was that huge gap around Coachell's dates, and no West Coast shows.

    He would make the perfect headliner.

    His Vegas residency starts back up in September, so it is realistic to keep him in the area for the two weekends. I just don't know if GV would think that with there being a Vegas residency that anyone in CA who would want to see him could see him with little travel.

    ^^ I'm totally OK with old queers buying up the tickets.

    Every reunion ...gay-ish... act I've gone to has been a lot of fun. 60 year old men (still kind of fit looking!) in tight clothes, doing bumps while wheezing through really energetic dancing. A tiny bit sad, but fun.
