it sounds like an M83 track to me, honestly. He's not going nearly as far away from "Saturdays = Youth" as he would have led us to believe....not with this track anyway.

Also, i've listened to passion pit like once, so i really have no idea if this sounds like it or not.

Well I didn't mean it negatively as I said I like the song but if you listened to Passion Pit you might agree with me. Or you might have a legitimate reason to disagree rather than just pouncing on a statement for quick lulz

There is a lot of similarity with the vocals and the loops of this track and some Passion Pit songs. I hear it.

I dunno. I imagine it will fit the whole aesthetic, much like the Saturdays artwork (which I wasn't crazy about) did.

Do spend a lot of time caring about the artwork? I never really think about it when I'm listening to the music.

Chris seems very negative about a lot of album artwork. i personally think the look of this is awesome. The kid in the funky monster costume is obviously some sort of motif that will be used for lots of things, as it appeared for single already. But I love the composition of the photo, the color scheme, the looks of the kids, simple lettering, everything. it's an aesthetic that i am a fan of. I loved the Saturdays = Youth artwork as well.

I vaguely remember what the artwork for Saturdays = Youth looks like. I never really pay attention, unless I have stuff on actual vinyl and look at it. But I like the aesthetic of this as well. It's certainly not offensive or overtly weird.

Once I'm listening to the music, no. But for me, when deciding what to listen to many an album have been glossed over because of shitty artwork. It's not that hard to make something passable.

I often will decide to listen to albums (especially now that i can just look at album covers on blogs and listen immediately - but even in the past I've bought albums based on covers alone). I happen to be attracted to a lot of art work that Chris hates hahaha

He cares that much because if he was reviewing albums for p4k, he would subtract a point if the artwork sucked.
