Is it safe to send cash in the mail?

The guy i'm buying from has a P.O. Box in Florida but he only deals in cash. Once he recieves it he will then forward me the tickets. Seems fair enough. I know i'm just being paranoid but this is safe right? It's a pretty good deal, I don't want to pass it up. It's a 3 day pass for only $325 not bad for a guy that didn't get his tickets in time. This guy is a saint for helping me. Who else has done this?

Im really not sure, why use a p.o box?? if it doesnt go right you will have no cover....you won't even have an address for him so you wont be able to trace him...I personally wouldnt do it...good luck tho.x

You guys are rude. I simply need tickets bad and nobody else is selling them affordable and rather than give advice some of you are just flat out rude. I sent the money today so hopefully you will be proven wrong and you will see there still are some honest people in the world. He gave me his PO box so I doubt he would lie, plus he's being honest by not taking all my money until I get the tickets. Only 200 now. It was on craigslist so it's safe.

Seems to me that in EVERY OTHER THREAD that faxman has been a part of he's shown more wit than to send $200 down payment to some random guy in FLA for a transaction based soley on good will. If the deal is real, it's about as high risk of getting took for your money as they come. Hope you don't get hosed.
