Who's better isn't the question. Frusciante's style WAS that band's sound, no way Klinghoffer fits in anywhere near as well.

Not surprising but their new song is so incredibly bad.

3 Tracks in, so far nothing awful, but no track that's got me overly excited.
2012 Coachella & TBA
2011 Wakarusa & Bonnaroo
2010 Coachella
2009 Bonnaroo
2008 Wakarusa
Against better judgement we're also giving it a try. I wish I had a bag of doritos.
I'm a reasonable man, get off my case....
Not a "Jump the shark" album, but not a great one either. In the event they are one of the headliners, I will be else where.

On "Look Around", Kiedis tells me "it's emotional" and I don't believe him. I used to believe him when he sang something like that.

The greatness that is the Red Hot Chili Peppers and their entire body of work shits all over your pathetic lives. Fuck You. I'll admit they sucked in '07, though. Thank you.
Fuck.
So it was Patton?
Fricke used "flair" twice in the same sentence.
I like Red Hot Chili Peppers from way back, but I haven't really paid much attention to anything they've done since Frusciante left the first time. I'd be okay with their playing Coachella, though I'd also be okay with them not being there. There have been three headliners I dislike more than Red Hot Chili Peppers in the three years I've gone (Jack Johnson, the Killers, Kings of Leon) and I've still managed to have an amazing time.
Is it just me or is the new guitar player foxy?

the new music is just shit too.
it's not the band i hate, it's their fans.
What is bad about this performance.

So, you had to go back to 2005 to find a good performance of a 1991 song. This pretty much sums up my feelings on this band. KTHNXBYE

I understand. It's hard to let go. They used to be so good. That day has past.

What are your upcoming touring plans?

Well look at that.... Year late, but it happened.
Incredible news, such a strong get for Coachella. North America has been waiting for this band for far too long, other festivals must be up in arms with envy. Going to be super exclusive, and only at Coachella 2013!
