    This is AMAZING.
    http://www.drwhogirlsknickers.co.uk/

I first started collecting knickers in 1983 when at the Longleat Exhibition I was sold a pair of Janet Fielding's underwear by a make-up lady. But let me be clear on this; there is nothing "perverted" or "weird" about my collection. We all collect things we like, and I find knickers more personal than an autograph on the back of a plastic cup.

To date I have ninety four pairs of knickers which I think you'll agree is a wonderful achievement! I have built this collection up by begging, borrowing and on three occasions stealing. I like to write to female Doctor Who celebrities for items of their clothing and over the years it's become pretty clear to me that the way to ask is to not refer to their "knickers" but their "feminine undergarments".

Once the full gallery is up you'll see just how wonderful and original my collection is. I also intend to include a gallery of the various rejection letters I've received, as well as some of the more surprising replies.

People are *always* asking me if I have any men's pants from Doctor Who. I'd like to make it absolutely clear right now that I am not a gay pervert. Lots of my very best friends are gay but the thought of asking for another man's pants is frankly dirty. To this end I rather hope I've heard the last of one cast member who continually *insisted* on sending me items of his clothing.

There is a tab on the left for anyone from the press who is as interested and excited in these knickers as I am. Please feel free to browse the galleries and if you do use pictures elsewhere please do give me full credit for them.

Finally I'm *frequently* asked which item from my collection is my favourite. It's so hard to say, but if I'm honest, if I'm really honest, then in all honesty and at the end of the day it's actually the ones I got first of all - Janet's.

I hope you enjoy my collection as much as I do all the time.

I guess I'm reading this because I might just give the series a try again (I've seen maybe... two of the classic ones, ever, and tried one episode of the 2005 series).

Mr. Sparks, thank you for reading my thoughts before I even thunk them. I have that too.

That was pretty cool... except some Americans, to remain unnamed, in the crowd were like "Who the fuck is Matt Smith?" Ahem.

    Hahaha, that site.

She was in the new series in the episode with the bomb and the gay man. I don't like gay men being in Doctor Who as it makes it feel made up.

I've started the 2005 season again and after getting through the first 4 /awful/ episodes, I'm liking it alright. Liked 'Dalek', 'Father's Day' was perhaps a bad choice for today :/

And now John Barrowman has shown up

Heidi, did you get to "The Empty Child" yet? That's the first really good one. There are more really great epsiodes to come in future seasons.

Love WW2 era episodes. Season 1, though I love Christopher's version of the doctor, has some of the cheesiest adversaries. The mannequins and the laughing, farting aliens to name two.

Yup, I've seen that one - I just finished season 1 last night, Amy. I was really struggling with the first several episodes that were incredibly cheesy and kind of slow. It got a lot better though by the 5th episode.

I tried to get into the show back when it first aired in 2005 but yeah those first few episodes are terrible and stopped watching it. But now that i've sat through those it easily became one of my all time favorite series. It's also hard to get friends into the show because of those beginning episodes.

I'm starting Season 5 today! The beginning few episodes really were awful, but it's been pretty great since then.

I watched Torchwood and cried at the end like a kicked baby. Apparently this is what I do now.

I've been watching the new Torchwood: Miracle Day. I really have been enjoying it. A few parts that have made me cringe.

    A few things:
    1. I forgot I set my cellphone ringer to the Doctor Who Theme until today. I always have it on silent. Yes, I am a nerd.
    2. I got giddy at a Rifftrax show at Castro theater. They said something about a refurbished tardis.
    3. Second half of the series is approaching! I am SO excited.

I need to catch up on Torchwood. I have a lot of problems with this season so it's been kind of on the backburner.

I watched through like...four episodes? My problems: 1. Oswald Danes. No way in hell anyone ever rallies behind someone like that, even if you suspend your incredible disbelief at his release in the first place. 2. The health care crisis. Honestly, shit would not get that crazy in that short of a time span. It's been what, three weeks tops? No way. 3. The government commentary is WAY heavy-handed. Of course jumping straight to ghettos and concentration camps, and putting healthcare entirely in government hands, is better for tv...but I can only suspend my disbelief so far. 4. I hate the new team.

    1. TOTALLY AGREE.
    2. I think it would. All the people coming in from fatal injuries clogging up the hospitals. Old people that should die never dying. Children being born. It would only take a few days for hospitals to become TOTALLY overcrowded.
    3. I sort of agree.
    4. I only really like Jack & Gwen & that foxy doctor Alvarez or something.

    Anyway,
Doctor Who. YES. My nipples are hard in anticipation.

Jacob had his ring tone set to the Tardis noise. It made a British tourist freak out when we went to Alcatraz last year.

My daughter had me download a pair of Doctor Who apps for my iPhone - One synthesizes your voice so it sounds like a Dalek, and the other is a fun if not terribly imaginative adventure game.

We're both pretty excited to see the Doctor punch Hitler on Saturday night.

So who watched it? I thought it was a little uneven, and the Hitler thing was a silly stunt, and I wish they would stop having him almost die in so many episodes because we know when it happens so it sort of takes the drama out. That said I thought it was fun and I always love a good River appearance. Tuxes are really not Matt Smith's style.
