Default Countdown clock on the front page... Accurate?

I noticed a discrepancy on the Coachella front page about what time pre-sale tickets go on sale. The letter says "10am PST" but the countdown on the bottom has it counting down to 10am EST. I'm assuming PST is correct but I wanted to make sure...

I just checked and I get 1 day, 1 hour, and 6 minutes. That would make it 10am CST. My theory is the code on the page is set to your time zone instead of being locked into PST. Anyone from England or Hawaii want to test this theory?

Great! So I guess I get a 3 hour head start on the rest of the country for the pre-sale?

I live in Korea and at the bottom of the page it says, "Countdown to Advance Sale, Sorry, you are too late." Imagine my shock to think that I had missed the presale. A funny little scare, nonetheless.

Yeah, it was obviously set to 10am for whatever timezone your computer is set on. Cause it counted down to 10am Friday here, in which it was 3pm Thursday in California.

What? Is Korea a week ahead of us? The presale isn't supposed to end until June 10th!

No, I teach English in Korea. And we are 16 hours ahead of California time.
