One thing I thought was really awesome was that they listened to the feedback and it's going to be an all inclusive ticket again, they aren't going to have the separate ticketed shows! That was amazing news.

ORBITAL!
I wish the rumors about the XX and Portishead were true. This is driving distance for me so pretty likely I'll go.
They don't seem to be very good about keeping secrets. All the better really.
I would love to finally get to see The Magnetic Fields.
they just posted a loverboy on FB

We can only assume they posted it because everyone is waiting for the weekend to be over for the line up.
I don't think Loverboy is playing.![]()
I don't know.. They are on that side of the country and their tour schedule is wide open that weekend.
I'm pretty happy with this. On top of our previous confirmations we get Actress, Mouse on Mars, Four Tet and Explosions in the Sky. And for $100 for the weekend? I'm sold.
Explosions in the Sky, Miike Snow, Santigold, Bear in Heaven, plus all the rest will be hard to pass on.
When does the schedule usually come out and does this usually sell out?
I love this.

Super surprised and stoked to see Disclosure on that lineup. This has been my jam all summer:

Sorry but I can't justify spending the money on this. The cheapest flight I can find into Asheville is $425. So I'd be spending close to a grand for this and it just isn't worth it to me. Most of those acts have played Coachella recently. Most of them will pobably be there next year. I'd be willing to bet money that Squarepusher is/will be booked for coachella. I will most likely be seeing orbital at Nocturnal Wonderland in September. The primus 3D show wil make it out west at some point. Richie Hawtin will most likely be at Escape from Wonderland in october. I saw GZA perform liquid swords at the clubhouse and I hated it!
Black moth super rainbow and fourtet are the only acts that I'm actually "missing"!
That being said, I think moogfest is a great festival and I wish they had booked a few names or would add some that make me want to go. If the lineup were anthing close to last years i'd be there in a heart beat!

Awesome line-up. Good to see Four Tet, Pantha Du Prince, The Magnetic Fields, and Primus on there. I like the balance.
Miike Snow really is terrible though. Especially live.

I kind of like that it's not initially a blow out oh shit there's so much packed in there I want to see. I'm told there are a few artists that haven't been announced.

It seems like there should be more acts to be announced based on last year's lineup. Not including the price to get there for many of us, I think the lineup is really good for $100.
Well last year was 3 days; this year it's 2.

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm thinking about Sweet Peas Hostel, it's walking distance, reasonably priced, and on top of a brewery. Downside is a lack of privacy, a noise curfew and no alcohol inside. Hopefully its not all booked already.
Scratch that, just called. They're booked.
It's not as good as the last two years, but I am down with this lineup and I will be attending this festival.

Kind of cruddy building wise, but perfect location, safe, and the nicest staff. And most importantly it was clean. Definitely the party hotel of the fest, but with that said I never had any problems with people being obnoxious. Just a nice almost campgrounds like atmosphere with all fest goers.
