Do you?
Yes
No
Do you?
I DO.
DO NOT LIKE!
But I'll probably go both weekends if I can swing it.

I'm a reasonable man, get off my case....
I do like it. I'm going to make a week long vacation out of it and hit Vegas mid-week! Christmas just got longer as far as i'm concerned.
No. That might change later... But no.
there needs to be a "meh" option
Lord Huron -> C2C -> Beardyman -> Pete Tong -> Lee Scratch Perry -> Modest Mouse -> Beach House -> Purity Ring -> Jurassic 5 -> How to Destroy Angels -> Birdy Nam Nam -> Allen Stone -> The Selecter -> Puscifer -> Violent Femmes -> Simian Mobile Disco -> Moby -> Wild Belle -> Grimes -> James Blake -> Pretty Lights -> Wu-Tang -> OMD -> Roni Size & Dynamite Mc -> Dead Can Dance
Meh/unsure/don't care/still deciding = don't answer the poll
As others have stated, i dont like the idea, but ill probably go to both weekends.

I have mixed feelings about it. I wonder how easy it will be to book bands spanning two weekends. Keeping in mind how a lot of musicians tend to be kind of flaky...I would hate seeing the acts differ from one weekend to the next. Even if they guarantee it will be the same you know there might be some variety due to circumstances...logically it makes perfect business sense...they have everything set up to go and it will make Coachella more profitable and more sustainable over the years as more people come.
All I know is that I will still be going.![]()

8 days of coachella ,could be epic ,that means we get to see twice the amount of bands if we go to both gigs and there will be no more conflicts ,im happy as long as the line up dosnt suffer because of it
It's fantasy to think that both weekends will have the same exact artists. Between the two weekends, I'd wager almost half of the artists will be different.
07/05 Jim Jeffries
07/26 The Postal Service and Max Cooper
8/2 & 4 Phish
8/9-11 Outside Lands and Glass Candy
08/23 MBV
09/11 AlunaGeorge
09/24 Wax Tailor
10/25-27 Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit
It would be epic if I go both weekends!
love it!
It's interesting to me that as the hours pass after the original announcement, people are becoming increasingly positive about the news. I think initially the percentages were like 75% against the double weekend format, and then 70%, and as of right now it's down to 66%.
This either means:
1) Negative people are more likely to answer polls quickly, or
2) Reaction is shifting as people have a chance to digest the information
Ha, I thought about that Tom. But I figured that a 9% shift in a sample size of 94 was probably significant. But hey, I haven't taken a class in (or for that matter used) statistics in like 10 years, so please correct me if I'm wrong. And also remind me how to calculate it, because I sure wish I remembered.
This is pretty much the worst Coachella news I could have gotten. If the lineup is the same both weekends then it loses it's appeal by being repeatable. If the lineup is different then you risk picking the wrong weekend. And for those that travel to attend and are still financially recovering from 2011 this is very short notice to commit money again. I agree that it becomes commercialized and far less special to see a canned pre packaged series of acts a second time around.
Don't leave me hanging! I've spent all morning trying to remember my very rudimentary statistics. And failing miserably. Z score? Chi square?
