This will be my first Coachella since 04 (and I only went for one day)! I'll be going with my best friend from London (who is flying out just for the fest!), my Argentinian friend who lives in SF, and my possibly my co-worker.

This sounds dumb, but I'm a little nervous about how I'm physically going to handle the full experience, camping and all. That first year I went, I had to go to first aid because of the heat, and I kept getting crazy muscle cramps in my calves, from being dehydrated I guess. But to be fair, I was so not prepared for the desert...obviously didn't drink enough water, didn't bring a hat, etc. Ah, what a naive 18 year old I was back then!

Nah, honestly I'm getting more and more stoked. Not just for the amazing lineup, but for the full festival experience, meeting people, etc! Reading the forums is definitely helping to elevate my excitement

Yeah there was also a consensus that weekend # 2 would be full of bro's or stoners for 4/20. Doesn't seem like people planned on both weekends selling out and the crowd being full of people who just wanted to get a ticket no matter what weekend. Sign me up for weekend #2 as well.

Same here, and here we are 2nd week into Feb and Car Camping spots for Week 1 are still available, yet week 2 is sold out.

I'm pretty sure there's a contingency for that. I used to work at the polo fields where the fest is held and while I know that the destruction from polo matches is not the same as the destruction from 70,000 drugged out people dancing like madmen, I have seen some pretty impressive immediate field repair. Also, if it was destroyed for weekend two, that would mean that it would have been destroyed for every Stagecoach ever.

Oi, I'm in. Sadly my wife and I are splitting so I'm not sure if I'm going alone or what now, but I'll be there. It's kinda bittersweet now but whatever, it will be a fucking blast I know.

with the meteor shower, the fact that Friday is 420, and it's my first Coachella.... i'd say the 30hr drive from New Orleans is gonna be worth it.
