    Uh-mazing.
    Loved it.
Apparently she misses old life or something?
I think that the big hairy thing was the small hairy thing in Clump.

And I wonder if the album will have all the songs, or brand new material.
The facebook page says it will be an audio-visual album.

I can't believe they've managed to sustain this for over two years! Is Jonna a trust fund baby or are they really selling enough on iTunes to fund all this? I really like the new song. Budgets have definitely shrunk for these videos since the heady days of '09-'10, though, haven't they? Whatever this new story it is, it doesn't seem as elaborate as the Mandrake myth from the first series, but I'm still hooked.

Very glad to read that it's an audio-visual album, too. The idea of them just releasing a CD now seems silly. iamamiwhoami is an a/v experience. I've never understood all the whinging for an album. I've loved their unorthodox methods of releasing their music. Apparently it's being released by Cooperative Music Holland.

Yeah, but I reckon some people might want all the music immortalized on an official disc of sorts.

And it's not like any of the videos ever really had a huge budget.
I mean, if you look at the old videos, it's basically shooting in the woods and forests of sweden.
And someone who's very crafty at putting together sets and costumes made from foil and plastic.

But yes, I think it's time to cash in and do live shows and release a cd/dvd.

Yeah, I think it could be connected to the small hairy thing in "Clump". forsakenorder.com is offering some seriously in-depth (thought not always coherent or easy to follow) analsysis of each of the videos. S/he seems convinced it's all connected to Ewers' Alraune. When I'm done reading my current book, I think I'm going to pick up a copy of Alraune.

The forsakenorder blogger claims s/he now has much greater insight into the videos after reading the book:
All I can tell you is this: after reading the book, I now understand:
    - what the dogs stand for (apart from the myth)
    - the meanings of: the T and Y cover, the envelope and the hair piece MTV James got (this one is really good and… mean, lol, SMART JOB, YOU GUYS!) and the hair pieces above the cradle
    - why the men in the mirrors quarreled (in 6th previd)
    - why 5 shades of men in the 6th previd and why 6 masks in O
    - why the scene of MO on the house at the end of the 6th previd
    - why ‘disciple’
    - why the llama spit
    - why the snail at the beginning of T
    - why the hunt theme
    - why those sequences of numbers
    - what ‘why?‘ is actually all about
    - why the forest was silver
    - why the laughter during ‘in concert’
    - who the golden hair boy filming in N is and also the bottle man
    - whom SUTS portrayed and why he got burned
    - where the dancing scenes from ‘in concert’ came from and their meaning
    - the purpose of the mirror symbol
    - why: ‘dress the part, it’s story telling’, ‘tell me how the story ends now’
    - where the king/queen/priest/knight references come from
    - who ‘u-1′ is dedicated to and why on earth ‘you can’t be the knight’
    - CUs real name, possibly
…and so, so many other things. I swear to you, you will have all the answers and you will be amazed at how this JL has managed to write those wonderful lyrics in such a way that no one would ever guess. Enjoy reading! Now back to blabbing.

    From here: http://forsakenorder.com/art/15209/iamamiwhoami-john
There are also a few early German films based upon the novel which I think I'll check out when I have more time. One of them has been uploaded to YT in 10 parts. First part below...

    (from the quoted list)
    - why the laughter during ‘in concert’

If this is referring to the little laugh the kid makes during T, i just attributed it to the actor flubbing and cracking a smile by accident, and them not re-shooting.

No, I don't think so. I recall hearing echoes of laughter (several females) before one of the songs. I don't recall which. I'm pretty sure this sounds familiar, though.

Oh, i was thinking of the smile the guy made, not the sound effects of the onlookers lolling.
I still don't even get that part to begin with.
    (it was T btw).

Wow. Things are ramping up. Exciting! The lead vocal in 'Drops' sounds like she's doing a Britney Spears impression. Ha.

I'm back to lost again. At least now we don't have to wait an unforeseeable time til the next video.
    Neat, though.

    Hmmm.

Granted, I haven't read Alraune yet, but these new videos are certainly less specific; more representational, don't you think? In the prior series you could make direct connections -- the mandrake plant, the dogs, the strawberries, the uhh... semen.

Lyrics were difficult to make out. When she was falling/dropping through the floors, we caught a glimpse of a sweaty man's torso on a wall (and then on a bed?) and then some blonde (another "Clump"?) looking out the window at Jonna's plunge taking place in the opposite building. I think I made out Jonna singing something about how she "changed my view" during that sequence.

Was that a sword she dropped on the ground when she stood up again at 3:23? Some sort of reference to the sword and the knight from "Y"? And the volvo's back at the end. Perhaps she's going to a new location now..?

God, I don't know. You can speculate all day on this stuff. I like the song. It's a grower.

    Anyway, neat cover of Sever

Yeah, it isn't a terribly eventful video. Seems to be more about a transition. Any idea what the fraggle rock guys represent? I wonder if the volvo's taking us to the water again. Wasn't it stationed by the seaside during one of the older vids? T - I think. Endless questions... (and, yeah, I like the song too. Not as immediate as the last couple of songs for me, though.)
