* The Clientele: I think I was the only person to list "God Save The Clientele" as one of my favorite albums last year in that cumulative listing thing I did. Granted, they did open for Peter Bjorn and John so they did get some exposure, still, even among the indie community, nobody knows who the fuck these guys are.
* I Am Robot and Proud: This guy makes music that seemingly gels with whatever environment you find yourself in. Really cute electronic music, for fans of Tortoise and Mum.
* DNTEL: I know that he's the other half of the Postal Service, but it still seems to me that very few people know of DNTEL and just how Jimmy can take the best of artists like Ben Gibbard, Jenny Lewis and Conor Oberst and make them absolutely shine.
* Junior Boys: Okay, so I've been harping on these guys since I chance saw them at Coachella last year. Definitely the best find I made last year, and This Is Goodbye has been my personal fave record for the last few months. Sure, Pitchfork gave them a good rating on their last disc, but again, few people talk about them in a "yeah! Junior Boys!"-ish light.
Who do you think needs more coverage? Who needs to be raved about more?
