Cheap Thrills is mostly EDM. Remember that night we went to that german bar on Indian School for my birthday? That was a Cheap Thrills night.

William Reed used to do something at the Rogue on Saturday nights. I'll see if I can find it.

I just found out Tranzylvania isn't at Club Palazzo anymore.

Shadowplay featuring DJ Manchester: Rips Ales and Cocktails. Every Third Saturday of the month.

80's new wave, dark wave, britpop. Basically the same as Robden's gig, just a week later.

Yeah, it shut down last year. I think Sanctum is owned by the same guy who ran Palazzo.

I was going to post about Hidden House but couldn't find the specifics on what they had going on each night of the week. I have been there once on a weekend, the place is tiny, I have a little issue with clausterphobia and I could feel the panic setting in, but the bar next door is pretty open if you need an escape from the tiny side.

Alright, I had to contribute to this post, since it looks like some of you are searching for some answers here!

IMO, Bar Smith is where you'll currently find the best DJs in town. If you're into Electro/House/Techno then Sticky Fingers on Fridays is where its at. In addition, on First Friday in June, 6/3, they are going weekly with an Indie/BritPop/NewWave format in the main room.

    http://www.facebook.com/pages/STICKY...27216337306294

On Saturdays, Solstice @ Bar Smith features the best house music in town. DJs Pete Salaz and Senbad have been at it 20 + years, and if you want to hear quality 4/4 with soul, this is where its at.

    http://www.facebook.com/solsticesaturdays

Cheap Thrills @ Brick is where Jared Alan and his crew do their thing. This is a monthly event now. This summer, there will be a plethora of acts coming to town, including Etienne De Crecy, Drop The Lime, and Classixx

    http://www.facebook.com/CheapThrillsPHX

The Quincy is indeed closed for the summer, but word is he will be returning for select one-offs and will be back when it cools off. I can't recommend this place enough.

    http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Qu...20970591262547

I would also add this page, as Stateside Presents is beginning to host more and more electronic artists

I am still waiting on the more dirty hip hop ass shaking options. The few places I have gone are a little too scary to throw out there unless you like scary.

Yeah I would love this. Problem is, most of these turn up at (name a random scottsdale hotel) and turn into a total douche fest, its never about the music and it rarely attracts a good crowd.

I had fun as well, I wish Nick would have stayed home so I could have stayed longer without feeling like he was bored shitless. We will have to plan it again sometime. That bar wasn't bad, total dive, my type of place. Although, I prefer the booty shaking type dancing, I listened to entirely different music in the 80's + 90's, I think the only recognized a couple songs.
