    Default Pearl Jam 20 Festival

    www.pj20.com

    September 3 and 4
Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI

    Pearl Jam
    The Strokes
    Queens Of The Stone Age
    Mudhoney
    John Doe
    Joseph Arthur
    Glen Hansard
    Liam Finn

General Public On-sale on June 4th. Check back here for more details.

Ten Club tickets to the PJ20 weekend will go on sale on Monday, May 23rd at 10 AM pacific time to all members current as of Sunday, May 15 at midnight pacific time. The Pre-sale ends Tuesday, May 24th at 5 pm pacific time.

Tickets are available only as COMPLETE WEEKEND PACKAGES. In order for us to serve the greatest number of members, we are insisting that all 10c pre-sale orders be for BOTH nights of the weekend. Single day tickets will NOT be sold through the Ten Club.

All 10C members purchasing pre-order ticket packages will have access to the Ten Club Park- a shady, grassy area to get away from it all. There will be some refreshments available (some free), 10C bathrooms and an all-around good vibe. This area DOESN’T have a view of the mainstage and it is limited to capacity.

That should be fun. Am I safe in assuming Pearl Jam plays both days with different sets?

ACL sounds like it's going to be a recap of every other North American festival from the last two years.

the only band i would care about missing at PJ20 is Pearl Jam and i've seen them 9 times. ACL has 'Ye, Arcade Fire, MMJ, Fleet Foxes, Stevie Wonder...i'm definitely leaning that way. + travel/accommodations will be cheaper in Austin...

Alpine Valley is a great venue and the weather should be perfect around that time. Very rural location, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Many people have told me that only the Gorge and Red Rocks are better outdoor venues of this size. I've only been to Alpine, so I can't really say.

I was really hoping for a better lineup, since I still haven't seen PJ and it's fairly close. Maybe I will go, but September is already a busy and expensive month.

Im sure its great if you have seats, but not on the lawn.

Nope, its an outdoor amphitheater controlled by Live Nation, therefore curfew is probably midnight each day. So if you want your ''long set'' from them, theyll have to come on stage at maybe 9:00 to do their thing.

More bands got added tonight including thenewno2. I am assuming that means Ben Harper will be added eventually.

Fistful of Mercy one night and other projects/solo the other?

I might hit this up since it's in my state. Alpine Valley is an ok spot too.

He is gonna tour, you know pre production on a legit stage set up can take time, right?

it didn't take this long for Glow in the Dark Tour, maybe ACL will be in the middle of a tour, who knows. it just doesn't seem like he's too worried about touring right now, considering he's spending all of his time in the studio.

Alright, my wife and I are going to this. Any boardies want to split costs on a car or hotel rental? Assuming hotels will be cheap in Milwaukee, but the bus service is highway robbery ($240 for 2 people total for 2 days).

Message me here or private if you're thinking of going, no reason to get screwed on travel costs.

Confession time: I already did this.

I was completely pumped for ACL, but the second line was 100% underwhelming and I don't really need to fly to Texas to see a bunch of bands I've seen at other festivals in the past year (Arcade Fire, MMJ, Kanye).

Historic Pearl Jam concerts (with likely very little setlist overlap) + QotSA twice + Mudhoney twice + a real attempt to "get" The Strokes? Win. Very glad I'm a Ten Club member.

If you wanna split car costs, let me know. I haven't finalized anything, and it would save on the high bus fare.

It's for two people. Those packages are only if you're a 10c member, and if you are... the higher priced package gets you one day in Reserved seats and the other day in the throng of unwashed masses... although they have a special 10c section in the Lawn. On the downside, the seats are likely awarded based on your date enrolled in the 10c... so if you're not recent, you'll be at the back of the Reserved seats.

Ticketmaster has the shows listed - $69 all in for Lawn tickets, I don't remember how much for Reserved.

Looking forward to two QotSA and PJ shows in four days. Should be awesome.

The most epic of fails on pearljam.com.

Nobody can check out their cart, the board and forums are down... whatever happened to ticket lotteries and tiered checkouts? What a mess.
