I took this a couple of days ago. It's the valley, Universal Studios and Warner Bros way to the NE. I just found out that this set (Universal)burned down a couple of times.

Yeah, the trees are even fake down there. The clock tower has been rebuilt multiple times because of the fires(from Back to the Future). I'm thinking about buying the super special all-year vip pass so I can go take pictures of Room #1 in the Bates Motel. They also have an old 50s car sitting in the Bates Motel parking lot now. The trunk is ajar and a body is visible inside.

That place rules.

No, it was taken right by the escalator directly above the Studio Tour ride. Later in the day, the view of the sunset was spectacular.

so we got there, and the gates were open, but they weren't filming. the star trailers weren't there. jennie, i realized when i got home tonight it's probably because the golden globes were on. so yeah, jennie, alex and i drove back and forth on the street wondering if we should drive it. basically, i'm a pusssy and i didn't want to get caught. after a while they convinced me the worst that could happen is they ask us to leave. so we drove in, drove by dwight, pam, and michael's cars (complete with PA license plates), and drove right to the front of the building where they film all the parking lot scenes. i parked in dwight's space (they had moved all the cars to the back behind the building) and jennie and i walked over to the front door while alex pussied out in the car. i saw the little sign in the lobby that said "dunder mifflin, suite 200. vance refrigeration, suite 201." jennie tried the door and it was open!!! so we both freaked out a little and then worked up the courage to walk inside. the security booth where dwight received an honorary badge was right there to your left when you walk inside. the lobby was really really small. like one chair. jennie started to walk down the hall but we heard some men's voices in a very near room so we booked it out of there. then we just drove back, checked out the cars again, and drove out. a few people saw us but i dont think anyone gave a shitt. here are my pics from my camera phone.







i woulda gotten more if i had a real camera, but i didn't have that much room left on my phone. overall, a very successful outing.
