MELT is a grassroots artist collective with a goal of informing the zeitgeist and connecting people through artistic collaborations. It is also the brainchild of a fellow board member and a dear friend. MELT has thrown parties at Coachella and throws monthly events at the Orpheum Theatre in Flagstaff, Arizona.

I personally will make it to MELT every time I'm logistically able to do so. I've never experienced such an inclusive display of visual and aural masterings. It is, essentially, a grand celebration of creativity, sound and movement.

This monthly electronic music and art show was founded by DJs and artists from the Coachella message board.

PS July would be an even better month Jen, because it is our anniversary and everyone from LA will be playing again.

The July weekend of the 22nd is confirmed, I think they are still waiting to figure out if it will be on Friday or Saturday.

turns out flying to/from flagstaff isn't that much more expensive than phoenix that weekend.

If you fly into Flag, you'll have to connect in PHX and they'll put you on one of those 20 seater propeller planes. If you're squeamish, I don't recommend it.

I had an amazing weekend! The Housewerk crew really threw it down. The Orpheum theater is a fantastic venue... glad you guys made the decision to upgrade.

i am so sorry for crashing out saturday night guys, i was extremely tired. i'm lame.

as far as july, if it's a friday, i will not be coming up, but i can make saturday. i can only do saturday events. keep me posted.

also, apparently the amtrak train from LA to flagstaff runs much more frequently than the one to phoenix. i believe one of the many zack's took it this time around. and you can drink on the train!!! something to consider. the times are usually kinda funky, but it would save you a drive.
