Somehow, Cleveland is getting Silent Servant on Friday. Looks like the drought I was preparing for will have some relief.
I will say that Mathew Jonson blew me away this weekend. I was having crazy lucid dreams after that night. He rearranged something in my head.

We should meet up sometime anti-square. I will most definitely be at Shifted. You going to Kassem Mosse on the 15th as well?
Came across this in a partial recording of Mano Le Toughs recent Pbar set. Dig it lots.
mnml ssgs is winding down their mix series.
they'll be offering up a number of new mixes from various artists, in quick succession, over the course of the next few weeks it seems
here's one from Dozzy. FUCK YES.

I love this flyer. Hokey, but I love it all the same.

That weekend is a good one to do it! Sandwell District showcase at the same spot the night before, w/ Mark E playing an extended set in the small room upstairs. Can't imagine what Robert Hood will be like in that space. Oddly enough, Alexi Delano is playing downstairs during Hood, but its a different party for which one needs to buy a different ticket.

The Travelling Sh!t Show is live at the Beatport Office. Wild ass hybrid of technos. They will be closing my stage on July 21st at Red Rocks. Headliner is Lucy.
Tune in- http://www.ustream.tv/beatport
Rhythm is a dancer.
The new Claro Intelecto is dreamy stuff, or at least I thought so roaming around my neighborhood at 3am after a sugarcube. SCSI-9's Metamorphosis is nice too although I kind of lost interest half way through. But both are good for mellow but not too mellow late night vibes.
V - 13th District is amazing as fuck. Love the vibes. If i could find some stuff on youtube, I'd post
5/12 - Acid Mothers Temple - Casbah
5/13 OoOoOo - Soda Bar
5/19 Black Angels / Hanni El Khatib - Belly Up
5/29 Junip - Troubadour
5/30 John Talabot - Echoplex
6/2 Bjork - Hollywood Palladium
Yeah Claro Intelecto is perfect for that super late night vibe. I bumped that album many times on late drives through the city.
Perc trax showcase tonight. Let's do this.
Kassem Mosse & Kollektive Turmstrasse were stellar in SF on Friday night. It was definitely the dark, heady stuff I've been wanting to hear for a while. And I really hope a recording of Christina Chatfield's set pops up because it was impressive.
anti-square, I can't wait to hear how Shifted was.
5/25-5/27: MOVEMENT DETROIT
6/6: The Field @ The Independent
6/26: Colin Stetson @ The Chapel
I'm very excited for Shifted. Judging by his RA podcast I have a feeling it will be a great set.
Perc was fucking awesome last night. Played for 3 + hrs. Donor's set was kind of weak though. They need to redo the sound in the National Underground.. the way it is arranged is absolutely retarded.
Nate, what are you doing in NY? Just there for the summer?

Finally caught up with Recondite's On Acid and it's fantastic. I know Forza's been jocking Acid Test for awhile now, but this is definitely one of the most interesting utilizations of the 303 since Plastikman. Most of the stuff is really gentle and gorgeous, but I love the slow burn freak out of this track.
What are some of y'alls mid-year favorites picks?
Oooo I had been meaning to share that this weekend, I picked it up Friday and have been loving it. Definitely a refreshing take on the 303.
Favorites of the year so far:
Voices from the Lake - Voices from the Lake
Shifted - Crossed Paths
Saschienne - Unknown
Blondes - Blondes
Levon Vincent - Fabric 63
Recondite - On Acid
Cassegrain - Plate EP
waka waka
Everything that Locked Groove has released. Shifted's album. Levon Vincent's motherfucking Fabric 63, Phase - Binary Opposition.
*for some reason I wrote Pulse Emitter's Aeons, initially, which I can't really get into. I don't know how or why I confused that with Phase.

Yikes. Will be paying for this weekend for some time.
Kassem Mosse and Kollektiv Turmstrasse on friday were incredible. The former is especially deserving of any and all plaudits that come his way and I encourage everyone to make an effort to see him should the opportunity arise.
Magda playing a funky sundowner set to a HUGE crowd in perfect weather, w/ a panoramic view of SF, was likewise ace. She's brought her A game the last 2 times I've seen her, having been a bit of a let down prior to that.

^ Sweet bookings.![]()
Aurgasm, can you do the bookings for the Sahara next year as well plz? ^_^
Don't know if it quite counts as mnml, but I've really been digging the Joy O/Boddika collabs that have been coming out.
J Phlip dropped this track during her set at the festival-that-must-not-be-named. Highlight of the night for me.
So guys, my schedule is permitting me to go to both Kassem Mosse and Shifted this weekend. Berry, berry excited.
Was Kassem Mosse's set all live Cara? I'm very interested to hear what he brings to the table.
200 minute mix from Svreca for mnml ssgs:
