I really hope they release the recording of their set. The ONE day I forget my headphones...

Edit: Hurts less that I'll see them in 1 month.

How minimal is it? My guess is: essentially not at all.

    MNML BURN.

My suitcase is filled with designer jeanz and fedoras but you should fly out! You have unlimited money, right? ^_^

It's gonna be awesome though. I'm happy he's getting an extended set.

I don't keep up enough to know if this has been posted. Someone threw it on my FB wall and it's hitting the spots. I think I need to craft my own techno bunker with punishingly loud speakers so I can hear this shit proper. /thingsi'ddoifisoldmysoulforobsceneamountsofcash

I love Perc Trax. Very excited for the showcase next saturday.

So Kollektive Turmstrasse was awesome yesterday - Played relatively early (7pm) so there was plenty of room to dance. Plus it was an outdoor location with a cookout on a beautiful day. Fucking perfect.

Am I the only one who finds Nina Kraviz ridiculously boring? She headlined but everyone was just talking through her set because it was fucking lame. Aril Brikha was pretty good though. Happy him and KT did live sets.

People seem to either loathe or love Nina.

I hate Nina Kraviz because I find her productions are contrived and gimmicky and she can't dj particularly well,

anyways, I'm really obsessed with Other Heighs lately, so many good labels from Belgium...

I was at that party last night. She has decent track selection and her mixing skills aren't bad, but she doesn't seem to understand that there is pacing and momentum that needs to be developed within a mix. It seems she chooses the easy route to mixing and waits for the last part in a track where there is plenty of room to blend the next track. I got bored and left during the first half of her set.

Less time discussing Nina Kraviz, more time discussing everyone else on the Underground Quality roster.

I am thoroughly stoked for Shifted on the 16th. I really do need to take a break from going out daily ever since DEMF though. I finally shut down and walked away from some bass party last night after about a half hour of being there. I'm aiming to stick to one thing a week. Next week is Joris+ Nic and loco dice.

Somehow, Cleveland is getting Silent Servant on Friday. Looks like the drought I was preparing for will have some relief.

I will say that Mathew Jonson blew me away this weekend. I was having crazy lucid dreams after that night. He rearranged something in my head.

My thoughts exactly. Just wasn't that interesting/engaging.

Came across this in a partial recording of Mano Le Toughs recent Pbar set. Dig it lots.

The only thing a flyer needs on it to be great is "Robert Hood." Ugh. I need to get my ass to the Bay already.

That weekend is a good one to do it! Sandwell District showcase at the same spot the night before, w/ Mark E playing an extended set in the small room upstairs. Can't imagine what Robert Hood will be like in that space. Oddly enough, Alexi Delano is playing downstairs during Hood, but its a different party for which one needs to buy a different ticket.

I'd love to see Mark E. And Sandwell could be great too.

I've been meaning to hit up The Bunker but haven't had the chance. This may be the time I end up going. I'll be hitting up Nic Fancuilli and Loco Dice tomorrow and Dave Clarke on Saturday. Otherwise I'll see you at Shifted for sure. PM sent.

The new Claro Intelecto is dreamy stuff, or at least I thought so roaming around my neighborhood at 3am after a sugarcube. SCSI-9's Metamorphosis is nice too although I kind of lost interest half way through. But both are good for mellow but not too mellow late night vibes.
