Yeah, doubling as an opportunity to visit a friend that just moved to SF. Definitely going to BBF, but haven't sold friends on Magda yet.

Fair warning: Magda will prob sell out in advance. These things usually have a few tix kicking about at the door, but expect to pay a hefty price.
Also, I'm worried about the turnout at PW. It may be relatively low (though I doubt horribly so) on account of the Lindstrom and Magda shows. SF has a strong contingent of weekend warriors that frequent this stuff but it isn't so robust as to make for 3 packed clubs on the same night. I've never seen PW promote a show so heavily. They're even advertising a drink special which they never do for big weekend shows.
Looking forward to meeting the out-of-towners.![]()

If it were up to me, tickets would have been bought already. Most of the people i'll be with aren't techno lovers though.
Just looked right now, and it seems that it may have sold out. Dammit. Why won't she just give LA a date?!
Edit: May just be presale

Nope, that's it. Sold out. You may want to give the door a shout. Think they're trying out a new venue so they prob don't want to push it with respect to capacity. I'll ask around and see about extra tix.

Ah ok. Cool, that would be much appreciated! In retrospect, I should have secured a couple tickets just in case.

D'oh! I was looking forward to hanging with you at both shows since I missed Surgeon.![]()

5/25-5/27 DEMF (Detroit)
6/5 Bjork (Palladium)
6/13-6/15 Sonar (Spain)
I know. My friends didn't seem interested in an after party, but I'm sure we'll be leaving PW trying to figure out something to do...or maybe that will just be me. I'm already filled with regret.

Magda tix are available once again. The ticket link had broken. It's not yet sold out.
I also sent Rough a text to let him know.![]()

Thank you flea for the heads up.
Not sure about logistics but ticket is bought. Party on Wayne.

Not really that minimal. Don't care.
RAPE STOVE
white power?!
This thread should just be titled quality dance music. Nice selections guys.
Almost saw Sasha last Friday but my fake ID got taken at the door. It was some serious bullshit. They didn't let my friend in because he was wearing shorts. Shittiest Friday night I've had in a while. I hate that club (Voyeur).
Damn dude that's so shitty. I didn't know you were under 21 as well. We're in the same boat... San diego is the worst for all ages/ 18+ venues
5/12 - Acid Mothers Temple - Casbah
5/13 OoOoOo - Soda Bar
5/19 Black Angels / Hanni El Khatib - Belly Up
5/29 Junip - Troubadour
5/30 John Talabot - Echoplex
6/2 Bjork - Hollywood Palladium
Yeah I mean the only reason I really got that ID was to go to shows. I got in everywhere (casbah, soda bar, tin can, house of blues, el rey etc..) even got the damn thing scanned a couple times. I never made a ruckus and was always very respectful/handled my shit. I understand why shows are 21+ (I don't like dealing with teeny boppers either) but there needs to be some kind of test one can take to ensure the world that they are mature enough to handle a fucking concert and a couple of beers. It's incredibly irritating.
You coming to SBTRKT/Machinedrum at HoB? That one is 18+ We should meet up!

Will you turdburglars exchange Facebooks and bring the fake Id convo there and please post some god damn music?

Speak of Voyeur does not belong in this thread, that is a douchebag electro-house bottle service club, only name-dropping which international clubs you've been to is acceptable in this thread, duh.
I've been buying way too much vinyl for living in a town full of CDJs >(

BBF is out for SF and LA this weekend. I was looking forward to seeing them again, but at least PW still has Ripperton/Layo & Bushwacka. I'd be really upset if I'd paid the $52 for the LA gig.

That is disappointing re: BBF.
I bought Speedy J's A Shocking Hobby on vinyl the other day. Love this track:
5/25-5/27: MOVEMENT DETROIT
6/6: The Field @ The Independent
6/26: Colin Stetson @ The Chapel
Yeah I was pretty suprised not to see him on the lineup. Aurgasm makes a good point though - you should add me on Facebook

Anyone else can feel free to add me as well. Always love making friends with fellow Boardies.

^^ I didn't like the way that eventually went, BUT the first 20 minutes or so were so good I had chills.
I want to go to Bloc so badly. Why does Europe have to have the best festivals?
Snoop apparently has decent taste in house music?

From RA:
http://soundcloud.com/snoopdogg/01-tekno-euro-mixxMellow house vibes abound on the US rapper's latest mixtape, which features music from Martin Buttrich and 6th Borough Project. (No, this isn't a wind-up.)
