Yeah, that was where, thanks for that.
I can't even work out the time signature of that track, but once everything falls into place it just makes sense.
Plus it has a lot of sonic gymnastics I like.
The whole album is very nice.

Does anyone know where I can find a version of Feiern with English subtitles? The full video on Youtube is all in German.
Also, if anyone knows of places to download/watch Sub:Berlin (the story of Tresor) and the "Making Contakt" Minus documentary it would be greatly appreciated
This should work for Making Contakt:

(Watch this space for Sub:Berlin, I'm trying to find something with english subtitles.)
Nice rmx by Scuba. Cool jam he chose as well.
I get the feeling Scuba spends much more time in Panorama Bar than he does Berghain.
I can dig this but he must be shedding a sizeable chunk of his original fanbase. *waits for Unknown to confirm*
Probably an appropriate time to mention this: http://www.residentadvisor.net/feature.aspx?1539
An engaging look at bass music's increasingly overt flirtations w/ house. RA has been KILLING it lately w/ the "Features" content btw.

This is the best set I've heard all year (live stuff not included). Nothing else comes even remotely close. Get on this ASAP.
Was just listening to that this morning ^^
Fucking fantastic.
Edit: Don't sleep on this either (RA sure didn't):

Donato Dozzy was announced as the first name for Nachtdigital this year, so excited
http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?342530
Dozzy is peerless as far as I'm concerned. And what I've heard of the Voices From The Lake LP is magnificent.
I'd like to give it a shout in the 2012 releases thread but I need to give it a proper listen in one sitting. Perhaps someone else would like to do it.

Should we make a separate thread for IDing tracks?
I have a few:
Solomun. Controlling the crowd like a puppeteer, whipping people into hysteria. He transitions from an ODB remix (the song featuring Kelis) and straight into a spoken-word track, one of the usual "house is ____" excursions. The line I remember is "Do you believe in Freedom?" The singer then shrieks "FreEeEeeeEEeeeEEDDOOOOOMMMMMMM
Peter van Hoesen in Berghain. Another semi-spoken word track, I'm thinking it's Green Velvet, possibly. The stand-out lyric in the monologue is "Cannons ready/prepare to fire," and the track immediately obeys the command with monstrous double-time sub-bass plaster-shaking death rattles.
Any ideas?
Fair play, I was prob a bit hyperbolic in my praise. Having said that, I think we can both agree that the man is a truly special DJ and producer. One of a few I might be willing to travel a considerable distance to see.

Never been but its on the bucket list. I hear they have one of the best soundsystems on the planet.
Hey thanks! That track is definitely one of his best. What the hell is that guy doing nowadays? Someone should bring him to the states, he always seems hungry for gigs on Facebook.

Can anyone ID the track that starts 1:11 in in this Joey Beltram mix? It's been driving me crazy since I heard Andrew Weatherall drop it a few weeks ago. The ID of Violator seems to be incorrect,

Were you there, LooseAtTheZoo?
Claude Vonstroke dropped this tonight and did some crazy distortions of the bass line. He was all over the place genre wise, but it really worked.
