I don't see anything inherently wrong with having two Coachella in one year. Sure it loses a little specialness, but only in the same way as going year after year does. There may even be demand to support it, but there isn't enough talent to support two in one year. There is already a lot of overlap in acts with other festivals. If two Coachellas were run in one year either half the lineup would be the same or the quality would be significantly watered down.

While this is an amazing idea in concept I have no idea how well the execution is going to be. Two identical lineups is going to be pretty much impossible... The ppl who are really going to luck out are the ones in San Francisco, Vegas, Phoenix, etc who are going to get epic shows bc of the artist carry over.

For ths lolz they need to schedule daft punk and radiohead on seperate weekends.
