    i fully support this.
    i've seen him a few times (i was 12 or so) he totally puts on a fun show, and his band knows how to rock.

    this would totally be fun in the mojave or on the outdoor for a afternoon set.

    Stage setup + video clips + costume changes = Main Stage just after sunset (i.e. Duran Duran).

    I doubt it'll happen, but I'd welcome it.
    Upcoming Shows:
    * Dillon Francis + Anamanaguchi -- December 28th

    Going to Weekend 1 of Coachella 2014

    If The Aquabats and their theatrics went over well, there is no reason why Weird Al's wouldn't.

    My first ever concert was Weird Al, Bad Hair Day tour. It'd be interesting seeing him after so many years and hearing him parody some Coachella performers.

    I want a 20 minute Biggest Ball of Twin in Minnesota jam session.

    "I was so overcome by its shear immensity...I had to pop myself a beer..."

    He was my second live concert ever and I still remember his "Like a Virgin" cupping his traffic cone bra on a bed. The entire show was spliced with UHF scenes. I went bonkers as a 10 year old. I think I still would.

    I wish he would put more of his "style parodies" out as videos/singles. These are the songs that are completely original compositions, though they may be modeled after a certain band or genre of music. I think he's funnier (in fact, I'll go as far as to say that most of his song parodies are NOT particularly funny) when he's not constrained to fitting someone else's tune. He also tends to be much darker on these songs.

    I particularly like this one, because he is playing in the style of They Might Be Giants who themselves have a bad reputation for being too wacky.

    Heh. A person I went to high school with had to kick him out of the movie theater she works at because he was sneaking into a movie. This was just in September too.
